ako d nman ako na shock natalo ang japan...parang bumaba ang level nla.....medyo ano ung Dominican they take Russia to Five Set....pero comfortable naman ako kasi nandun c Gamova.....

natalo russia sa china 5 sets..pero thriller...
ang 1st to 3rd set..pero ang pangit ng laro ng Russia 4th at 5th kaya natalo..
pero ok lng....naitindihan ko
wla pa sa best shape si gamova..pero she's recovered....
grabe si yimei wang at xue ming unstoppable..
si xue ming parang si tischenko ang palo sa mga quick....

is yulia merkulova ever going back to the national team?
wang yi mei--she's effective and powerful but i still don't get why she has to be designated as the opposite hitter when she rarely hits from zone 2. maybe they should train a real opposite hitter in the mould of zhou su hong (yin na perhaps). i do miss their frequent use of double slides, stacks and cross plays.
anyhoo, it seems that only china, the netherlands and possibly russia are the only teams that can give brazil a run for their money.

'nga pala, i just found out that sokolova-kilic has not retired yet--she's back in italy to play for jesi, alongside simona rinieri and heather bown. ^_^

sarah noriega, castor. i don't remember her being on the national team since the sydney olympics. ang last niya yata ay noong early 2000's. tayyiba haneef and nancy metcalf took her place. liuba sokolova is a very nice and likeable person. in an interview she did, i remember she said that receiving is the thing she hated the most in volleyball, but she sorta smiled as she said it. she'll be sorely missed in the national team. si noriega ba naglalaro pa for the u.s.? what's her first name na nga stacy ba? |
