For me, may kamahalan ang prices ng tickets. Pero wala na tayong magagawa dun kasi lahat halos eh nagtataas na. Pati ata kuryente eh magtataas this month. Hopefully nga dumami tao come the semis and the finals, its for the sake of the league na rin. stonecold316

Lady Stags keep Falcons from sweeping V-League elims 05/02/2008 | 11:17 PM Email this | Email the Editor | Print | Digg this | Add to del.icio.us Quarterfinals Games Sunday, 4 May 2008 The Arena, San Juan
12 noon. – Ateneo vs Lyceum 2 p.m. – USJ-R vs St. Benilde
MANILA, Philippines - With Thai import Jaroensri Bualee back in their fold, the San Sebastian Lady Stags stopped Adamson University Lady Falcons from sweeping the elimination round of the Shakey's V-League Season 5 at The Arena in San Juan on Friday.
Bualee put in 16 points to help the Lady Stags win over the Lady Falcons (25-22, 25-19, 25-16), who absorbed their only defeat in the two-round elimination and closed it with a leading 9-1 card.
As expected, Bualee dished out a brilliant power game and quick plays, providing a solid backup to Laurence Ann Latigay, who unloaded 16 hits for an 18-point output for the Stags.
San Sebastian likewise avenged their three-set defeat against Adamson last April 8.
In the first game, the Lyceum Lady Pirates ended the elimination round with a win over the St. Benilde Lady Blazers (25-22, 25-17, 25-13) to finish third behind Adamson and San Sebastian.
Beverly Boto anchored the Pirates' charge with 13 hits for a 17-point performance that she highlighted with three blocks, while Syvie Artates and Dahlia Cruz each put in 10 points.
The Pirates closed out with a 5-5 mark after winning five of their last seven matches.
But they must do better in the next round, which will begin on Sunday, as they will be meeting the Ateneo Lady Eagles and two provincial squads – University of San Jose-Recoletos and University of St. La Salle-Bacolod – in the roundrobin quarerfinals.
"We were able to come back after a poor start because the bench stepped up, particularly our utility and open spikers," Lyceum coach Emil Lontoc said in a statement released by the league. "But in the quarters, we have to improve in net defense to boost our chances."
The Lady Blazers were winless in the eliminations, losing all of their 10 matches to tied the Lady Pirates for the longest losing skid in the league. The Pirates bowed in all of their assignments in the 2005 season.
Standings
Adamson: 9-1 San Sebastian: 9-1 Lyceum: 5-5 Ateneo: 4-6 FEU: 3-7 St. Benilde: 0-10

FEU still has a great chance of getting into the final four... they only needed to atleast win 3 of its 5 match ups to a play off but if they can manage to win all of its game, better... i still believe to these girls... go lady tams... i hope this time coach nes will showcase his surprises hehehe...

kung fans lang masusunod, i think SSC-R vs ADMU ang benta. sold-out siguro because of bualeenatics, charonatics and em-ornatics.
