DLSU-Taft: not joining this season?

Ang hindi pagsali ng UST ay unang umugong dito sa www.rpspikers.tk at dito rin unang napatunayan na hindi nga sila sasali.

Ayon sa mapapagkatiwalaang source, ang DLSU-Taft ay nagbabalak na hindi sumali sa Season 5 ng VLeague.

For DLSU fans and non DLSU-fans, dapat bang sumali ang DLSU-Taft sa Vleague?

Please give your ideas.

Yes, may nagsabi rin sakin na hindi sila sasali and I think there is a truth to that report.

Yeah. Si Miles Dy po ng spikeithard.com, kachat ko kagabi sa YM. Medyo close po kasi siya kela Celine Hernandez, Carla Llaguno and Kaye Martinez, so yun po. Sabi po niya ni Miles Dy na hindi daw po sasali ang DLSU dahil nagwowork na raw po si Michelle Datuin, Celine Hernandez at Carla Llaguno. Tapos, inaapila daw po nila na isali si Chi Saet, Illa Santos at Cha Cruz pero ayaw daw po dahil against daw po sa rules yun.

Yun siguro ang purpose kung bakit may isasaling 2 teams from south dahil may aalis na 2 teams from the north. hehehehe.

a lost of ust and a possiblty of dlsu wud be extremely painful but if u really a volleyball fanatic, it doesnt matter anymore. wat matter is dat there are still other competetive teams and there is still d shakey's v-league , always present to give us volleyball addicts so much fun.....

I am with that. As someone who is kinda new with all the volleyball league i am interested to see some of the other teams that participates in them. To me it avoids making my interest on my bet team stale.

Malaking kawalan ang UST and possibly DLSU sa V-League.

Remember, these two schools have the most number of V-League titles with three-apiece. The two teams are also popular to most volleyball fans out there.

Ang challenge ngayon sa remaining teams eh for them to step up and prove that they can carry the league to new heights even though UST and DLSU will skip this year's season.

And sila lang dalawa ang may hawak ng mga championship crowns sa V League.

Una UST, tas ngayon DLSU. And these 2 are serious contenders for the title. Sino kaya next? Pero I'm sure other teams will step up. Kakalungkot lang pero I'll still watch.

the problem with v-league management is that they are not consistent with their rules. laging pabago-bago. para bang mayroon silang pinapaborang team. i think that's the reason din kung nag leave ang ust nung 4th season.

nope. UST's reason of skipping the 4th season was because most of their good players (coyukang,etc) were graduating.

Tama si Clej. Sometimes yan ang problem sa mga organizers. They usually change the rules in an effort to give the other teams some sort of advantages. Imagine, isasali mo lang sa V-League yung mga players na naka line-up sa UAAP. Bakit naging commercialized league pa ito kung yung mga players na nag-leave ng absence pero nag-aaral pa at yung mga recently na nagtapos eh hindi mo papayagan maglaro.? Para ka lang uli nanood ng UAAP at NCAA volleyball tournaments. Kulang sa excitement pag ganyan.

Nga pala, kung pabago-bago ng rules nawawalan tuloy ng credibility ang organizers. Dapat maging patas sa lahat ng teams ang rule changes.

Anyway, DLSU will surely not join the v-league because of this development.
