I see. Kaya pala. Yup, Sheilla would make a great team captain. But for now, I'm going for USA. Lakas talaga nila. Carolina didn't spread the ball quite well. More than anything, i think brazil needs someone to neutralize their emotions. Maybe id sheila were made the captain, she can influence others better with her focus? No? USA really is the strongest team for me today. Brazil maybe no 1 on paper pero nakukulangan talaga ako sa kanila, at mas gusto ko na panooring USA. Logan Tom is quite the silent operator - steady sa receive, sa pag-dig ang galing. Angeli Tabaquero reminds me of her pag nasa backrow si Ange nung UAAP days. Si Hooker naman, grabe. She can attack over the blockers of Serbia. Ibang klase tumalon. I agree with someone here who said Hooker could be the next Gamova. Well to me, she's well on her way. Just a little more experience pa. Sayang, di nakapasok Russia. I want to see a rematch of USA-Russia (the complete line-up - Kosheleva, Sokolova and Gamova). Parang nung World Championship lang.

I think that set up has always been the traditional chinese system, a bit like the russian system na isang OH, ang libero at ang OPP ang receivers. Zhou su hong did all those--she was an awesome receiver and front-row attacker, and a dependable blocker. Zhang Jie confuses me. She's an OK MB/Opp, she has a decent backrow attack. Pero OK and decent just doesn't cut it. What they're doing now seems to work, a receiving Opposite in Zhang Lei and Wang Yimei as the outlet in the backrow. I agree. Zhou Su Hong was simply an excellent receiver.

Hallo, guys! Can any of you enlighten me on what exactly a running set is? Haha

Hallo, guys! Can any of you enlighten me on what exactly a running set is? Haha I've had that question for years.

Grabe yung Kim Yeon-Koung! Parang si Gamova lang. Dinala niya Korea.
19 and 15 respectively.

even though im a big fan of US i wouldn't mind them losing to the likes of s. korea or kenya. but if you noticed they are so focused and seems to know how each other's play well. that was lacking a year ago. they are like the brazil of 2008.
