hehe! puede, but you know anything can happen. italy (lo bianco and piccinini most especially) are actually not as stable after all. brazil, aba'y parang tapatan mo lang yata ng ng masipag na blocking e mahihirapan nang makabawa (tapos nandoon pa ang russia at usa na parehong pader). with china, sila wang yi mei lang at ming xue ang malalakas (i'm very happy to see them get back to their more traditional style of play). cuba is not as stable either (tinalo yata sila ng dominican republic in the pan-american up or something. basta.) hahahaha...USA maybe n top 4 sa World Champs but in finals? i doubt

hahahaha...USA maybe n top 4 sa World Champs but in finals? i doubt I think depende yan sa draw. Looking at the draw sa World Champs, favored to go sa final 4 ang Russia and China (Ka-group nila ang Poland, Japan, Serbia). Ka-group naman ng Brazil ang USA, Italy, Cuba, Netherlands, Germany, etc. So just imagine in Brazil's group, you have to emerge as either 2nd or the top in that group, meaning you have to defeat the likes of Cuba, Italy, etc para makapunta sa semis. Hirap kaya nun. If USA solidifies their reception, open hitters and their setter, i think they can win the WCH. Yung reception ng OH at libero medyo on and off pa. Pati ung ka-diagonal ni Tom na OH na si Larson kelangan i improve ang attack kasi di siya nakakapuntos.

by "ka-group" do you mean 'yong mga mag-a-advance sa second round? i must say that the second half does look too "crowded." gud lak hahahaha...USA maybe n top 4 sa World Champs but in finals? i doubt I think depende yan sa draw. thailand has plateaued eh? ever since they beat china (and korea along the way) in the continental championships last year wala nangyari. what you see is what you get pa, unlike the others like japan, germany and the netherlands na medio malalim ang pool. if only they have like a flier, a kimura or kozuch (or fuerst or brinker), they'd be better off. i feel that onuma isn't there yet. korea and china are in an almost similar situation, kaya lang they have kim yeon koung and wang yi mei and ming xue to pile up points for them when no one else can. i may be wrong, but it's just what i think. cuba...i get the feeling that their middle blockers and opposite hitters still aren't up to par yet. they're merely a shadow of their 2008 squad.

I haven't seen them play baka may improvement na. Si Kosheleva lang ang tingin kong gagawa ng husto.
Hooker and Akiradewo are the best blockers in the world side by side. USA girls are still feeling each other what more kung nag jell na sila ng husto. Athleticism is their main weapon. They jump like the old cuban team. Larson is growing on me, she could be the next Logan Tom. Anyway, USA will have a very deep bench. Andyan pa si Hodge, Harmatto, Enkel and Fawcett plus their old players. Losing the likes of Tom and Bown wouldn't be a problem in the future.

Russia will always be a top contender...With Gamova, Sokolova, Kosheleva plus their naturalized player na galing Ukraine (nakalimutan ko name). Andiyan pa yung talented Middle players nila like Merku, Borodakova, etc. I am predicting a final appearance for them this coming World Championships. Pinakamababa na siguro ang Final 4. I love that Sokolova is back to stabilize the reception. Can't imagine seeing Gamova and Kosheleva receiving. Hehehe. Seriously, can't wait for Russia. Last time I saw them compete was in Montreux tournament. swimbod21 Interesting thing you mentioned about Larson. I will not take away her collegiate accomplishments... NCAA championships, etc. But when she graduated college and played at last year's World Grand Prix, she's just not good enough...but this year she has improved so much and has upped her level too high to bench Megan Hodge who was considered by many Americans as the next Logan Tom. With everything thats been said, Larson is growing on me as well. I love her all-around game. @ Minduser Palagay ko naman Tom and Bown will stick till 2012. Baka they are giving one last shot for the Olympic gold. Ofcourse the coach would want their leadership plus yung skill. For me, Tom is still one of the best all-around players in the world right now. So hard to see a USA team without her. Kay Bown naman, her experience says it all. She's still unstoppable.
