They "might" get Maureen's services again. Good decision if it is.

If Illa Santos and Charleen Cruz will be allowed to play as regular players, I think what DLSU needs is a good setter... Chie Saet, Ers Iratay, or Joan Botor Carpio would be a very good option as a guest player... Otherwise, they need a very skilled open spiker... The likes of Jang Bualee and Nerissa Bautista are good options...
Although, I love Maureen Penetrante so much... I think she is not the kind of player that DLSU desperately needs right now... She plays at her best game when she is placed as a middle blocker/spiker... Kung siya pa rin ang guest player, one among her, Michelle Datuin, and Jacqueline Alarca will have to adjust to a new position... In the recent UAAP Season 70 Volleyball, it is evident that DLSU lacks a reliable open spiker as it is only Stephanie Mercado who is fitted so well with the position... Although Carla Llaguno has been successful in adjusting to the Open Spiker position, it would still be best for her to be placed as a Utility Spiker because it is her experty...
Anyway, this is the starting line-up indicated in Wikipedia... Although everybody knows that Wikipedia is not a legitimate source of information... I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this would be the DLSU Roster for the V-League...

Middle : JACQUELINE ALARCA
Open : MANILLA SANTOS
Utility : CARLA LLAGUNO

Wala na po si Datuin, Llaguno and Hernandez sa team. Nagwowork na po sila. Ang natitira po sa first six nila ay si Martinez, Alarca and Mercado. Tapos yung iba po ay si Cerveza, Zuno at Lopez. If ever kasali po daw po sila, Ang balak po daw nilang kunin na player ay si Danielle Michiko Castaneda of UP na pwede po ata kahit anong position, yun po ay kung hindi daw po sasali ang UP. |
