i heard that UST alumnus ROXANNE PIMENTEL and former ust player will now reinforce DLSU in the upcoming Shakey's vleague.. will she be the answer to DLSU's title drought?

Middle Blocker/Spiker si Rox... The question is, sino kina Jacq Alarca at Michelle Datuin ang magaadjust ng position if ever si Rox, or kahit si Em Penetrante pa, ang maging guest player ng DLSU? Kung ako kasi ang tatanungin, mas kailangan ng DLSU ng skilled setter or open spiker na guest player dahil okay na naman yung middle blockers/spikers nila...   |

i think si michelle datuin ang maggigive way.. jaq allarca has all the talent para mapanatili siya sa first six.. si michelle, mejo maliit eh.. hate it... i dont want roxanne pimentel to be in DLSU squad.. huhuhu ayokong i-boo ko siya balang araw.. hahaha |

^ Whether it's Illa Santos or Chie Saet, ok lang... DLSU needs a skilled setter or open spiker... Yun nga lang kung sakaling si Illa nga ang guest, mabababad masyado sa court si Kaye Martinez because most of Abi Barbosa's sets are a bit erratic... Di pa ata sanay si Abi as a setter because she used to be a center spiker and basketball player during her high school days |

bagay nga naman ang basketball tsaka volleyball eh.. Sorry to be KJ pero parang hindi nga naman bagay si Pimentel sa DLSU, masyadong malaking arrangement ang mangyayari jan. I think the best guest na pwede nilang kunin ay si chi saet, ganda kasi talaga ng mga sets niya and she has worked with the other girls na kaya hindi masyado mag-aadjust diba? |

but since isa lang ang pwedeng guest player..
mas go ako kay illa..offense kasi e!!!
i think hindi din ata papayag maglaro si rox sa DLSU..

If my memory serves me right, UST-DLSU rivalry in the vleague was the most intense EVER (to date wala pang tatalo). DLSU has always emerged victorious in the finals. Though Roxanne always settles for the Best Attacker award (her running spikes are always a sure point). Mary Jean Balse was like a Morada-Gonzalez back then..very promising. While Maureen Penetrante is Balse's counterpart.
Anyway, I dont think she'll play for DLSU. Busy na sya sa business, etc.
But she'll always be remembered as the one of the best Middle Players in the Philippines.
I really miss her. :-(

Ging was the mvp at the time and she was way more than just promising.mas malakas pa nga ata yung quicks nya nung time na yun kasi that was before her injury.. about ate rox, you're right, i think there's no way she'd play for another team..ayun lang |
