Correction iha, the game between UST and FEU is a play-off to determine who will get the Number 2 seeding and twice to beat advantage going to the Final Four of the tournament.

If UST will go on to win, they will face again FEU and need to beat them only once to enter the Finals. It will be vice versa if FEU wins on Wednesday.

Adamson, meanwhile, already advance to the Final Four as the Number 1 seed and will face Ateneo which is the Number Four seed).

Hope this will clarify things up. ;D ;D ;D

Middle - Balse - Morada
Open - Bernal - Daquis
Middle - Mance - Cafranca
Open - Tabaquero - Gonzalez
Setter - Tan - Semana
Utility - Torrijos - Abanto
Libero - Curato - Taganas


UST's Key to Winning:


- BLOCKING (Same with that they did against ADU)
- Prevent FEU's Quick Spikes
- Variations in setting and offense (Doesnt need a powerful spike in order to score a point)
- Defense ( Same with what they did against ADU)
- Contribution by the other players (not a Balse-Bernal offense only)
- Floor Defense (As Impeccable with what they did against ADU)


FEU's KEY TO WINNING

- Control Balse-Bernal (same with what they did against Charo)
- Floor Defense (same with what they did against UST- the last time they met)
- Semana's versatility in setting
- Limit open spikes, just do quick spikes to avoid UST blockers)


Oh well, cant say who's going to win, but I think it'll be a tough match for both teams. The one is riding on a momentum after beating league-leading Adamson while the other seemed to be ontouchable by the other team (they beat them twice..no fluke as they say).


This will not just be a battle for the placement, but more of a battle for pride and glory.
UAAP will always be UAAP.
Nothing gets more exciting than this.

i agree with stonecold that its going to be ust in 3 or 4 sets..ust already flashed its brilliance in the adamson game and i hope it continues hanggang sa finals.feu is a good and talent laden team but if ust plays true to form wala talagang makakatalo sa kanila.
