I choose KARA ACEVEDO for the title Rookie of the Year. I know that it's a tough fight between her and Gonzalez but then Acevedo is leading in the statistics. Malakas pumalo si Gonzalez compared to Acevedo but then Acevedo, she uses her head more compared to Gonzalez. Si Acevedo hindi lang palo ng palo, magaling sya magplacing ng ball. Isa pa, feu is a powerhouse team while Ateneo indeed depends mostly on one player alone, Soriano. In here we see Acevedo's value as she, despite of being a rookie, emerged as Charo's back-up in providing both offense and defense for Ateneo. Most of Ateneo's wins came from both Soriano and Acevedo's hardwork while FEU's wins came off as a team effort, not really depending much on Gonzalez.

They're both great players btw, i just think Acevedo deserves the title of ROY more than Gonzalez.

hmmm...Based sa game nila kanina, I think Acevedo deserves to receive that ROY award than Gonzales (although I voted for Gonzales last week, hehehe). Off kasi yung game kanina ni Gonzales while Acevedo looked like she tookover the game of Ateneo from Soriano. Not that I'm taking away the credit from Acevedo, but in today's game, Soriano did not really play her usual game. She's obviously reserving her ammunitions for the semifinals. But still, Acevedo really played a superb game today. Acevedo or Gonzales, whoever wins the ROY, she deserves it!!!

i voted for cara acevedo... i dunno why... 1 week ago i would have voted for shaira gonzalez... i think cara acevedo is growing on me... pro wats her height? she seems kinda small to me, i dunno why... i was really frustrated because charo soriano did not do her usual "to-die-for" attacks... their reception is very weak, their libero was very frustrating...

nasa 5'5" po ang height ni cara. pero may nagdedebate parin po dyan (height ni cara) hanggang ngayon.

Cara's accurate height is 168 cm or 5 ft. + 6.141732283464563 inches... So that's approximately 5'6"
