i think it's hui who is the main receiver, tapos depende sa formation o sa gising sa umaga kung sino kina zhu ting at zeng chun lei (lefty opposite) ang other main receiver. i wonder if lang ping ever thought of just always using a two-receiver system.
for the USA team, alisha glass' appointment came in because she recovered on time. siguro may pag-asa pa si thompson kung hindi nag-recover si glass.

lol. i missed the part where you guys said hui was dropped from the team. i get the feeling that liu xiatong will take her place on the starting lineup. zhang chang ning is still too young, while liu yan han is a non-receiving OH. it is imperative therefore (i think) that liu xiao tong stay fit and healthy, kasi otherwise basag ang floor defense nila.

Sa totoo lang, di ko na kilala yung mga pinag-uusapan nyong pangalan. Samantalang 6mos lang ako disconnected. HAHAHA.
For me, kaya kinuha si Glass for USA dahil sa play na low-fast. I actually credit her for the success nila last year. Di kasi gaano kagamay pa ni Thompson (ito ba yung maliit?) ang low-fast BASED on what I've seen (actually nasilip lang) sa isang game nila sa Grand prix (grand prix nga ba itong kakatapos lang na pinalabas sa 23?).
Bakit nga ba wala na si Hui Roqui? Actually, madami ding nawawala sa China like Zhang Lei, yung bano pero gumaling na 6'5 middle nila, si Ma Yunwen (matanda na nga pala ito), at may isa pa silang matangkad noon. Good for Liu Yanhan na masama sa roster. Nakakaproud lang. haha.

^ matagal ka ngang nawala. as i said, glass' nomination to the world cup team is simply because she's already recovered. (she was actually there sitting on the sidelines in some of the grand prix matches watching) if she hadn't been injured, thompson would have had even more limited play time at the grand prix (baka nga sa pan american team na lang siya mapunta). matagal nang wala si zhang lei (she's a granny already by chinese volleyball standards and her offense is a bit inconsistent). i think xu yun li and ma yun wen are still young and strong enough though. |

hindi kasali ang brazil sa world cup kc automatic qualified na sila kasi sila ang olympic host!! Sasali ata sila sa South Am Cup at balik Roster na si Shiela at Fabiana.

That's why Brazil is out of the picture sa Word Cup. Hahahaha. Nasanay na kasi akong makita ang mga strong teams every tournament eh. Oh well, praying for some good upsets. Gusto ko yung may underdog na tatalo sa mga strong teams.
