if alekno's coming back, i think all them other teams should be nervous. yes, i agree that the wing hitters have performed badly especially this year. but compared to mikhaylov's performance until about two years ago, his and most of the substitutes' performance haven't been convincing. i think they should bring back nikolay pavlov. he's shorter, less powerful but he gets the job done.  |

Di na ata part ng NT si Pavlov. and alam ko isang naturalized player kada team ang pwede. parehas kasing Ukranian si Muserskiy at Pavlov eh.

Part pa rin siya. But it depends kung maganda form ni Butko or may injury. Di pwede tatlo na naturalized citizens. Really hard to displaced Muserskiy and Butko has been with the NT for too long.

Very Sheilla-ish or sa lalaki si Michal Kubiak(although OH siya)din ang laro, ganda ng court sense niya. Papa din yung isang middle nila. Si Igor Fillipov. Sana makasali sa world cup. Magaling din yung setter pero medyo kaloka magset kapag out of system na pero very Grbic style niya minimal wrist action. Overall ang taas ng potential ng u-23 team ng Russia. Ganda ng FD, very consistent serve pero kulang pa sa exposure against sa mga senior teams ng ibang bansa.

Kinut nila siguro si Thompson kasi magiging setter ata siya for Rexona-Ades sa Brazil. Nagretire na kasi si Fofao. I really don't think USA needs two lefty opposites sa isang team. Karsta is more talented saka Murphy needs a club first. Wala pa atang kumukuha sa kanya. Matagal na rin dapat part ng regular player sa NT si Fawcett pero yung former coach nila opted for setters Thompson and yung former opposite nila eh may heart problem pa naman. Sayang sina Glass at Fawcett noong olympics. Speaking of heart problems, parang mas lumala ata yung sakit ni Hui Ruoqui ng china kaya tinanggal ata siya ni Coach Lang Ping. OT: Nakakamiss man Brazilians dahil wala sila sa tournament pero pag-usapan na natin din sila. May height pa rin pala youngsters ng Brazil pero yung pinakamagaling nilang players are not that tall. Yung mga tall players nila are just reserves or bench. Kklk. In fer talaga sa Brasil, nagoverperform sila sa U23 WC. Mukhang mas talented mga players ng Ibang bansa pero keribels. Yung Dominican republic parang tatlong Destinee Hookers ata naglalaro. Haha Pero kinaya lang. Saya lang naabutan ko yun live sa Youtube kagabi. Si Queen Rosamaria na talaga bagong fave ko sa Brazil side maganda pa flawlesss lang beauty haha. Kulang pa siya ng jumping height pero she's the closest U23 player to Sheilla's gutsy plays. May isa din ata parang anak o kapatid ni Juciely kasi from buhok to mukha at height parang pinagbiyak lang. Si Saraelen ata. Magaling din yung setter nila si Juma medyo maerror lang kapag nasa likod na si Rosamaria at siya nasa harap. Di ko feel yung chubby Gabi di makaspike sa backrow. Liit din pero ganda ng instincts niya. |

Kung minsan si Hui yung receiver, kung minsan si Zhu o kahit din yung lefty opposite nila pinagrereceive din. Malamang kukuha kapalit lang ping sa u23 nila na OH. Lalim kaya pool ng talent ng china. Lol Di naman ako nagagalingan kay Hui, sa totoo lang. Maerror din kasi siya. |

This will be an excitng tournament knowing that some of the teams are now fielding the young players to the NT. They are doing the transition na to give the young blood the experience for future tournaments and leagues. Watched the Brazil-Dom Rep semifinals of the U23 and I must say that maybe luck is in the side of the Brazilian team. The Dom rep team was a strong opponent but the Brazilians managed to pull out a win over them. In the future tournaments, we will see if what teams will have the best transition. Looking forward to see new set of young players esp the Brazilians suiting up the blue and yellow uniform.
