I heard Priddy tried Beach Volleyball baka para gumanda transition niya sa libero dahil doon. I consider pa naman na libero is the weakest position ng USA. Di ako nagagalingan kay Shoji.

KKlk ng mga Iranian fans. Parang gumagamit ata vuvezela pang boo sa kalaban. Tapos may military presence pa. Ewan ko ha baka truthness nga na nagpatalo USA dahil sa threats sa mga players nila.
Nagbalik na rin si Muserskiy at after a long time, ginawa siyang opposite. Short stint nga lang. Talo pa rin against USA.

humina ata ang line up ng Russia. I prefer Grankin as their main setter though ang mga setters nila this league were good. Kaya lang iba ang diskarte ng veteran eh. Oh well, ang Olympics at World Cup naman ang pinaghahandaan nila.

i think home-court magic or not, iran has been playing very well lately. the setter, as always, has been a beaut too watch.

^ i was thinking the same. russia might not be taking this tournament seriously enough. their results, nonetheless, have disappointed me a lot. baka ma-relegate sila niyan. lol. i think home-court magic or not, iran has been playing very well lately. the setter, as always, has been a beaut too watch. I agree. Since ok lang kahit group 2 na lang sila next year sa 2016 world league para iwas injury. I mean lampaso todo max lang ang group 2 next kklk sumali pa sila. haha I also think pinanapalakas nila ang mga wing spikers nila dahil doon talaga nagkaroon ng pagkukulang last olympics ang russia until that magic switch ni Coach Alekno. Nakakadisappoint lang si Mikhaylov ngayon, di na siya yung 20+ scoring machine dati although attributed din sa injury niya at Champions League win feeling exhausted ang drama lang at talagang mahina ng middles ng russia at waley fd nila tapos service errors pa kung minsan. Di ko type si Moroz, admit ko naman na ang muscles, pecs, biceps pang macho dancer at magaling naman siya umiskor pero di ko talaga feel siya, parang mas peg ko pa rin ang poker face ni Papa Maxim.  |

Anyone thinks na gagana pa rin si Muserskiy wings? Parang ang tatangkad na rin at ang babata pa kasi ng mga OH ng Poland, USA. Tapos ang mga setters din ang tatangkad na ng pumapalit if ever magkaplay sa left side si Muserskiy.
Dale talaga sina Murilo, Dante at Giba dati, wala maisagot noon dahil otb parati siya.

I already stopped caring about Russia. Haha! Anyhoo, I honestly think they can do much better. It's roughly the same lineup for the past three years, tapos eembang lang sila nang ganiyan? I think they can do better if they want to. (But why not? Send Mikhaylov to the left wing tapos Muserskiy sa right. Baka maengganyo ulit silang maglaro.)

Mukhang truthness nga na si Wilfredo Leon has/will denounce his Cuban citizenship for Poland. Sayang di siya aabot sa olympics pero Kubiak is not really an offensive OH more on passing talaga siya at yun ang butas ng Poland. Kakatakot ang Poland in the next couple of years...

My favorite will always be Italy, kahit pa kung titingnan, they really have a relatively weaker team than USA, BRA, I still love AZURRI.
Isa na lang kulang sa Final Round, I really hope France can pull off the win in Group 2. They are really strong, 12-0 sa intercontinental round (well, weaker ang mga kalaban but still, they haven't lost yet)
If FRA moves on, it will be interesting to see how the team of Ngapeth fair well with the powerhouse teams BRA and USA.
Sa other group naman, mukhang mas magkakaamtch ang teams. SER, ITA and POL. SER and ITA have already faces and I beleieve SER won more games than ITA in their head-to-head. POL on the other hand, would be quite harder to tell, since the played on a different group in the earlier round. Magagaling yung mga middles ng POL, and of course there's Kurek. Nagagalingan din ako dun sa sub nilang open, kay Buszek. Mas bet ko pa siya dun sa team captain na pandak.
Personally, I want the top four to be: ITA, POL, FRA and USA. Then ITA vs POL sa finals. Hehehehe!
Sa ITA naman dapat paglaruin mas madalas ung MVP sa Italian League yung 18 year old na setter si Simone Giannelli. Di naman effective si Dragan Travica. Pwede ngang tanggalin na siya totally sa lineup mukhang okay naman yung isa pang sub na Davide Saitta, maliit nga lang. Keep Zaytsev at Lanza sa open then okay na ko either kay Luca Vettori or Giulio Sabbi sa opposite. Sa middle okay naman yung 3 na sina Anzani, Mengozzi, Birarelli. pero okay din idagdag si Alletti. tanggalin na lang si Andrea Giovi, na wala naman kwentang libero. Okay lang kahit mag-isa lang si Colaci. Good subs for the wings sina Randazzo, Antonov.
Bye, bye RUS na nga pala sa GROUP 1. Nakakamiss Si Maxim Mikhaylov. Basta napakagulo ng RUS. Bet ko sana si Moroz pero if siya gagamiin, then wala si Maxim, unless gawin siyang open uli like nung Olympics. "Oh hello, Ateneo team" Way-way-way back before the Valdez days. Yung panahon na ang guest players nila sa team eh 4, out of the starting 6. Hahahaha!!! Push yan.
Sa BRA naman, mej nakakaumay na kasi sila. Though may mga relatively new faces like Isac, pero karamihan talaga sa kanila, oldies na. Imagine, choices sa opposite, Wallace, Vissotto, and Evandro. Kung ako papipiliin, kina Evandro ako at Vissotto just for shear physical appearance. Hahahaha!!! Setters, for sure kay Bruno yun isa, ung isa naman di pa sure kung sino dun sa 2 pang oldies, William or Raphael. Wngs, Lucarelli lang ata ang bata. Endres is no longer a prolifent scorer but what he brings is floor defense. Sana gamitin din si Loh Lucas.
Sa FRA, exciting sila panoorin. In their last match, the coach even used a totally different first 6 during the 3rd and 4th set again Korea ata. Bangko ang starters then in comes the second stringers, and yet, mej nabaon paring ang kalaban, in fact mas malayo pa agwat sa scores. Ngapeth, Le Roux, Le Goff, Rouzier, Toniutti, Tillie, they should be playing in GRP 1.
Serbia naman, super bet ko si Sasa. yung lefty na opposite. Then siyempre yung mas bata sa Kovacevic. Hahaha!!! I love his mismatched beard and hair, Mej brown and buhok then black naman yung beard. Hahaha!!!
Di naman ako masyadong obsessed sa World League no. Paulit-ulit ko kayang tinitingnan ang stats araw-araw for updates especially sa mga games na di ko mapapanood.

I'm also excited or the French team to be included in Group 1. Ang lakas nga nila. As my memory recalled it, my isang game ata i dunno if its world championship o world cup kung saan they brought the Brazilian team into a fifth set pero talo sila. I believe they can bring a new dimension of volleyball sa Group 1. Susubaybayan ko ang League hanggang sa Finals. Pero I think it would be a Brazil ten any-team-will-do sa Finals. hehe
