May China-Dom Rep at USA-Russia pa. So may pag-asa pa ang mga natalong teams na makabawi sa next game nila. Ang top two teams ng bawat pool ang mag-aadvance sa cross-over semis. Ang winners ng cross-over ang maglalaro sa Final match.

Brazil-USA at Italy-China ang maglalaban sa semis. Finally na dethrone na ang Russia. Pero sayang effort ni Koshleva, kung andiyan lang sana si Sokolava maganda sana reception nila. Non-factor si Gamova.
i am hoping for Brazil-Italy in finals, with the former finally winning their first World Championship trophy.

Baka Brazil China ang maglaban sa finals. Malaking pressure para sa Italy to make it through sa finals dahil sila ang host country(unlike Poland men, mas up and down ang women's volleyball kaya mahirap humanap ng consistency) China got all the weapons from middles to outside hitters and setters basta may magandang reception at service. Talo ang China sa experience and ofcourse crowd effect may dampen the mood pero para sa akin, China already hit their rock bottom with Brazil and Dominican Republic matches kaya imposible na mahit pa nila ito ulit.
Sa USA Brazil I think lamang ang Brazil basta hindi mapressure ng husto ang reception ng Brazil.
What makes Brazil deadly is their outside hitters ability to pass the ball para makaatake lahat ng options ng Brazil from middle, oh to opp mapafrontrow o backrow.
USA still lacks the consistency with the fast sets although it's not impossible for USA to defeat Brazil basta hindi sila mapressure ng block dahil isa pang forte yan ng Brazil. Glass sets fast pero predictable pa rin especially with their reception. I guess kung meron lang silang isang player na able to free up Jordan Larrson from receiving duties lalaki ang chance ng USA.
Anyway ang nakakabahalang weakness talaga ng USA is the state of their game when closing the game or playing catch up. Nawawalan sila ng energy.
Still, this is the knock out stage. Every team knows na matalo ka ng isa lang, it's all over. Kaya lahat mag iistep up.
Whichever team stays in system the most and plays better in transition and out of system will win. That's the reality of volleyball. No other way around that.

If Brazil will play with no pressure, sure na mananalo sila against USA. Inconsistent pa talaga ang plays ng US at nagagamit ito ng Brazil to their advantage. pero who knows, bilog ang bola. Kung mag self-destruct ang Brazil with their faulty reception and floor defense, baka makaisa ang USA sa kanila. pero with the motivation of winning their first ever World Championship trophy, they will be all-out sa game na 'to. staying up late to watch the game LIVE online. hehe. ONE for BRAZIL!!

USA making fast plays. They grabbed the first set, 25-18. di mahabol2x ng Brazil ang offense ng USA. pang Men's ang style of play nila. just amazing!

USA is demolishing Brazil. Di nascout ng Brazil ang fast plays ng US. ang galing lang. parang straight sets ata ang Brazil kung di pa sila gigising ngayon. hay.

scouting is irrelevant sa knockout stage format kung series eto pwede pa,parang fa cup sa soccer may mga low seeded teams na aabot sa semis or even win the championship but then you'll wonder bakit kaya di nila ulit magawa the years after tsaka bakit lagi lang silang 8th-10th place sa standings sa sarili nilang league? that's the wonder of a knockout format, now with that being said nagpalit lang ang us at brazil, in 2012 usa was te best team of the olympics but brazil win the gold, in 2014 brazil was the strongest team but usa beat them, of course 2 years ago i wont admit it since if you are a sports fan and your team had 2 very good games you'll disregard the other 98 mediocre games they played previously because your emotions would prevent you from any rational analysis.

Grabe lang. At China and USA will play for the Gold match. Second seed sa kani-kanilang pool pero proved na di batayan ang rank coming into the semis. What amazed me was China beating home team Italy. Bilog talaga ang bola. bawi naman after four years. Mailap talaga ang World Championship trophy sa team Brazil.
