'ganda ng ngiti ni pasynkova no? hehe! ang payat, pero magaling pumalo. kaya lang sayang at B team lang siya sa national team. Fateeva is favored kasi, maybe due to height, that is even if Pasynkova was instrumental in the Russia Team B vs. China Team A match win.  |

pasynkova stands at around 191 cm, while fateeva is about 188 cm tall (if i remember it right). pasynkova did well in the previous years in her club team, but you're right she still can't edge out fateeva or safronova (ooh mama) from the A team. i do remember though that she was included in the starting line-up, as an opposite hitter, along with safronova and fateeva back when the italian coach of the russian national team was just starting out (probably testing out the younger players). slydivakung ganyang team ang makakalaro lagi ng rp wvt, naku, siguro matinding experience na ang natutunan nila. sana mgqualify nman ang rp wvt sa play-offs for olympics sa London.

My ultimate fave player is Miyuki "Shin" Takahashi ng Team Nippon. She's the shortest wing spiker (5' 7") in international competition but she's also very reliable, sometimes even coming out as the best scorer in a tourney.  Also Wang Yimei, yung #1 ng China. Ang cute niya, so huggable (hehe) but she packs a mean spike and serve. Also, at 21, she's very young and is the future of Team Zhonggou. Tsaka yung setter pala ng Team Italia, si Lo Blanco. wala lang. |

Sa totoo lang ang panget ng blocking ng Brazil noong finals kaya kahit medyo inexperienced ang spikers ng US (compared naman to them) nakakapasok lahat ng spikes. Off topic: scruffy Giba or clean-shaven Giba? haha  |
