no. ang may isa o dalawang matatanda lang sa starting lineup ay ang vietnam at myanmar, but the rest are very young. the philippines has the shortest lineup in southeast asia (pati yata sa buong asia. i'd have to verify that). with power, i think our middle blockers have to synchronize their timing with the setter better para mapalakas ang palo at malagyan ng magandang anggulo. (i think everyone should learn to hit like edjet) all of these things are solvable, kaya practice at exposure lang. i think we also really have to update our style of play. i hope the tournament has served as an eye-opener for us all.

^wala kasing team profile sa AVC webpage. pero swear ilang years na naglalaro for indonesia and thailand yung mga players nila. if not old by age, they are older in terms of their playing years in international competitions. kumpara sa RP team na hindi pa masyado babad sa international circuit. they need these kinds of exposure. sa local tournaments, they are definitely the best. but the standards are way higher outside.
Basta pinaka-gwapo pa rin Philippines. Mukang mga totoy, hindi mga lolo.

guys nabasa nyo ba yung article sa sports section ng inquirer? mukhang biktima ng turf war between POC and PSC and mga binuong national volleyball teams natin! politics as usual grrrrrr!
lahat daw ng moves ng poc na magdagdag ng ipadadala sa laos seag ay irereject ng psc! in the process DAW of streamllining the philippine contigent to the upcoming seagames makakasave daw ang psc ng 10 million pesos. (kanino nanaman kayang bulsa mapuunta yun). eto ay kahit na willing ang poc na ihanap ng funding from the private sector ang mga idadagdag sana sa contingent natin.
merong 47 officials ang kasama sa 200 man delegation na ipadadala natin sa seagames. lahat ba sila kelangan dun? sagot din ba ng psc ang pocket money nila? natatanong lang po dahil akala ko nagtitipid tayo.

wala pa eh d pa ulit nagpapatawag ng meeting ang pvf eh pero ginagawa lahat ng mga taga pvf ung lahat actualy my pondo na kame ung aprval ng POC ung ndi namin makuha.... ayaw yata nilang pumayag...

Thans Jessie. Sana naman mabigyan kayo ng pagkakataon na maglaro sa Laos SEA games. May tiwala ako sa RP line-up, kailangan lang talaga more exposures. Pero paano yun, ang nabasa ko sa news, deadline ng submission ng line was yesterday, 26Oct. Pag hindi natuloy, nakakapanghinayang talaga yung training at especially yung potential ng RP team. Pero kahit ano paman mangyari, sana buo pa rin ang RP team. Mabuhay ang RP Volleyball.
