May nabasa po ako sa V-league.ph in this link www.v-league.ph/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1692&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15 written by rma052172:Whatever the reasons UST didn't participate in this season will remain a puzzle in every volleyball fans and aficionados mind. Each team has the right to decline participate in this league, since there priorities are to play for their own respective collegiate competitions and win a championship. These are the very reasons why they are recruited and playing for their schools. This league helps to promote the sport and make it more popular as what it is now. It gives also the chance to the teams to see their performance and gauge their chances for the forthcoming competitions they will come across. The Philippine volleyball has been deprived of proper support to bring back our lost glory. UST or any other team should not be blamed if they opted to skip or not participate in this V-league season because of their personal reasons. The V-league can stand without them because they are now widening their horizons by inviting some teams from the provinces. This is how Philippine volleyball should be handled or supported by exposing other teams that could play the game. UST is not the main factor for the sport to be popular or to survive. It is the people who loves the game makes the difference. Remember, volleyball is a team sports. For the Philippine Volleyball to survive in these struggling times, we should be a TEAM. FYI, the RP WVT will be revamped because a NEW RP coach has been appointed by the PVF----that is COACH DULCE PANTE. Expect a lot of changes will happen in the RP WVT. This I can say, because I saw the appointment order of Coach Dulce Pante from the PVF. To the UST fans, I apologize that your favorite players might not suit up for RP team.
