Let's give LOTS OF LIKES to the following women's teams who have qualified for the 2012 LONDON OLYMPICS: Great Britain, Italy, USA, China, Turkey, Dominican Republic, Brazil, Algeria, Russia, Korea, Serbia & Japan. Even if they failed to make it, we congratulate Thailand for their performance over the years. ♥

Malakas ba Grand Britanya? Kasing lakas ba ng Grand Canyon nila sa Yuri? ahah..
Pano nasali ang Algeria?
Turkey, yung team ni Naz na naglaro sa Fernebahce?

On a happier note, KYK wins Best Scorer, Best Spiker and Best Receiver awards.

pero pangit ang format ng qualifiers, it favors asian teams, so I think Serbia really deserves this ticket, as much as gusto ko rin kung nakapasok ang thailand.

and yang hyon jin, another korean as best blocker. the taiwanese libero gets the best libero and digger awards. my beloved tomkom gets the best setter award. the only award given to a non-asian was the best spiker, which was given to rocket scientist yanelis santos. lol.
so what do you guys think? nagpatalo ba ang japan? i haven't seen the match yet, but from what i've read just now, japan was way tooooooooooo clumsy towards the close of the match. either they and serbia wanted gift each other with an olympic ticket, or they didn't want to see thailand make it to the olympics. harhar!

through the african qualifiers nasali ang algeria. it was the turkish national team, not the club team fenerbahce. both of which member si naz. Pano nasali ang Algeria? Turkey, yung team ni Naz na naglaro sa Fernebahce?

and i wish that next time, hindi na japan ang mag-host. bakit ba sanggang-dikit sila parati ng fivb... pasabugin natin ang mga headquarters nila! darn, so sad right now. ano na kaya ang mangyayari sa thailand national team? they came so close, and you could see that the even the team composition through the years running up to this year's olympics, their tactics in this tournament and even the players playing overseas were all geared to this one moment. i'm guessing that we might see wilavan and pleumjit go soon dahil sa edad. (hmm...baka kunin silang guest players sa v-league natin. mamam!) pero pangit ang format ng qualifiers, it favors asian teams, so I think Serbia really deserves this ticket, as much as gusto ko rin kung nakapasok ang thailand.
