Some "rumors":
1). The great Liobouv Sokolova will not be on Russia's roster. She is skipping the tournament due to being "tired". Tatiana Kosheleva will also miss the tournament due to injury.
2). Dominican Republic's great libero, Brenda Castillo, will miss the Olympic Games. The 2nd libero will also miss the London Games. Both players are said to be pregnant.
3). Wang Yimei of China undergone an operation for an injury. Her chances of competing in London is still in question.

so paano 'yan? goncharova and estes to the starting lineup?
brenda castillo...really good, pero hindi ba't pag napipikon sa spectators siya e nginangatngatan niya? i think she's too spunky.
hui ruo qi and fan lin ling (tama ba?) i think are able to handle wang's absence.
may kaunting drama naman sa bulgarian men's team. their volleyball fed sacked the head coach, stoychev, for not being able to qualify sa cev qualifiers ng olympics. key players like matey kaziyski have threatened to leave. then the prime minister of bulgaria himself just recently demanded that the coach be reinstated, kaya lang ayaw na niya. bulgaria will have another shot at qualifying for the olympics, kaya lang may drama sila, brought about by their nasty fed officials.

Goncharova-Estes-Gamova yung magiging pin hitters for Russia. I think kayang kaya pa rin nila mag qualify for the London games. Scherban, an up and coming talent, will travel with the team. She's young but has a lot of potential.
Re: Wang Yimei. Para sa akin medyo mababawasan talaga ng firepower ang China kung wala siya sa Olympics. Hui Ruoqi will be fine pero si Fan Linlin medyo alanganin pa. Inconsistent. Si Li Juan din inconsistent.
Sayang talaga ang Poland (Women). Ang hirap talaga magqualify from the European Zone.

All matches in 3 sets! Serbia - Russia - Korea - Japan LOL @ Japanese commentators --> Mai Yamaguchi moves like a ninja! (that's because of Yoshie's deceiving combination plays of course)
