australia is asia's representative to the olympics. with india and pakistan very unlikely to win any match in their own pools, wala tayong makikitang singkit o middle-eastern-looking sa men's volleyball ng olympics.
the france-pakistan match just ended about 20 minutes ago. pakistan took the first set, and almost took the second set. o-ha?
anyhoo, it's going to be germany, bulgaria, australia and serbia who are going to the olympics.

For the women's competition, if Sokolova is indeed re-joining the team, I'd place Russia as my #1 bet for the Olympic Gold...just very tough to stop those big hitters....They are very effective against Teams who run fast plays like USA, Brazil or Italy.
