interesting that both men's and women's ng Brazil pasok sa volleyball finals. Will they dominate?

Men's Volleyball - Semi Finals
Russia def Bulgaria - 21-25, 15-25, 25-23, 23-25; Maxim Mikhaylov - 25 pts, 21 attacks, 2 serves, 2 blocks
Brazil def Italy - 25-21, 25-12, 25-21; Murilo Endres - 15 pts, 12 attacks, 1 srv, 2 blks

Kaya naman ng USA. Though unable to stop Kim, imo the block of the USA is enough to contain Jaque/ Paula/ Garay. Also, while Brazil's game may be picking up, it's also worth noting that USA hasn't dropped a set since their loss to Brazil in the Preliminaries, and they manage to close out tight sets. They're playing sharp. And Hooker! Nagpea-peak din naman siya. Her numbers were fantastic last night. The finals will be very exciting. Ang Brazil nag pepeak at the right time of the tournament pero ang USA naman nakakabilib yung composure nila in tight matches. After all, rematch din pala ng Beijing ang mangyayari. Expect Hooker and Sheilla to get monster numbers tomorrow. Pag may perfect pass ang USA malamang kay Hooker i-seset ni Berg either front row or back row. Sheilla will also be the go-to-player especially yung patented pipe attack ni Sheilla, which I think is the third best in the world after Hooker and Gamova. The middles from Brazil and USA are almost equal. Parehong magaling mag block at umatake. I expect Thaisa to get set by Dani Lins in perfect passes. Setters naman, Berg runs more combination plays than Dani Lins and is the more experienced pero nakasalalay pa rin yung health niya. I am sure if she feels some pain she will still play, after all, Gold medal match ito and this is her last game for the National team. She's a trooper as well. Dani Lins has been impressive the past 2 games so I am looking forward for her setting tomorrow. What I think will spell the difference in today's game are the OHs (and libero) of both teams. Reception reception and reception. Kung sino yung mas consistent sa receive yun yung may edge sa laban. Go USA! Go Brazil! |

It was only Savani who wanted to win for Italy. Re: Both men's and women's of Brazil. My prediction, both teams will go home with a silver.  |

bukas, 630pm, women's bronze, jpn-kor, live sa solar sunday, 130am, women's gold, bra-usa, live sa aktv, replay 130pm bukas ibobroadcast ng solar yung men's semis starting at 1pm so hating gabi ng Saturday yung gold medal match sa AKTV? aw.. gusto ko pa namang makita ang JPN-KOR game.. meaning, ngayon na pala ito.. aha.. |
