Congrats AdU!
Commendable middle attacks by Soriano and Quinlog, especially the latter.
This is a game where both teams should have utilized their middle hitters a lot because both are not-so-tall teams with scrappy defense so the wing attacks kind of cancel each other out, that's why there were very long and exciting rallies. AdU middles brought their A-game while ADMU's middles were just ....
Am I actually surprised at ADMU's performance? Not really, because I think the trauma left by their loss to UE is still haunting them. They're afraid to take risks because the risks they took during their UE game cost them a very heavy price. The only way I see them bringing back that fight they had during their first game vs. UST is if they get back at UE at the 2nd round. Until that happens, we will just see a so-so game from ADMU, very far from their potential.
