GAME 16: Adu vs ADMU (Dec. 15, 4pm)

Ateneo is actually playing well. They have the best setter and the best digger this season.
Fille is also a candidate for the Best Receiver. One thing that is actually missing from them now
aside from their blocking skills is their fighting spirit. It seems like when they are down,
they give up already. Maybe this happens because they are having a hard time reaching the
very high expectations from the Ateneo supporters, staff and others. If you watch them,
you'll notice that they are really playing and working under pressure. Sometimes, it looks like
they are not enjoying what they are doing anymore. They lack communication. Anyway,
Im sure things would go better for them. If they find a solution to this problem, I believe they
can be all the teams on the second round.

Before the UAAP season started, everybody or almost everyone was rooting for ADMU porket 3rd year na sila at maraming may potential. Siguro nakita ng ibang team na ADMU is one of the top teams to beat this season, and that perhaps psyched them up to beat ADMU.

It's like everybody wants to beat ADMU.

ok the loss to UST was like a victory parin, then they lost to UE which was quite an upset than 3 sets with lasalle was acceptable then they lost to ADU? whew...i thought they got over that coontrapelo already?

i dont know if im the first to coin this but i label ADMU as the GIVE-UP QUEENS. why? they just dont fyt. they only play. and there is a big difference.

anyway i hope thay canpatch things up. tska sna maging mtpang n cla.....i dont know about u guys but despite here standing, im finding JEMs game a bit off than how she used to do it. puro open xa eh. we knw what does it for ATENEO, PLAYS PLAYS and more PLAYS. well ithink KARAs the factor here. hindi xa nakkatulong lately. one time nga i heard gorayeb shout at he" KARA ruemceive ka sa likod, ano pang gagawin mo jan?" for me i understood it as, "ano pang agagawin mo jan eh di k n nga nakakapatay ng bola?" hahaha i dont know..... ksi kung magnda lng ang utility eh sna pwede cla magdulodulo... hindi ksi nila optiona ng center attackers eh..... ampanget ng laro ni HO at pASCUAL lately. i say they do DULO DULO sa attacks but then again KARA is missing. if u go OH-M combis nmn eh di nakakapatay ung center. haaays. for missing tlg ang game ng center attackers un lng.... talo nila ang ADU dti because of that. dpat next round matalo nila lahat including atleast one between UST and DLSU para tumaas chance nila for 3rd. i dont think its possible to go for the finals pa...... unless they beat the top to cgro, ewan... i just hope admu can find it in their hearts the will to fight

with coach gorayeb nmn: i can see that he is very strong in tactics and plays and he develops very good defensive teams. pero di tlg xa magaling magcoach sa blocking and thats when i miss the services of LABORTE. haaays

^^i sort of agree to this. The problem kasi with ateneo is they're bench is so deep (and i know me paparating pa this coming seasons) na pag may nagkamali sa starters palit agad. Nawawala yung maturity ng mga players. Nadedegrade ang moral. I also feel sorry for dzi. I know for a fact na she is a strong spiker pero i do think na all eyes lagi si gorayeb sa kanya kaya pag nageerror out agad. Hindi nakakadiskarte.

I really dont like gorayeb's style for coaching. Somethings missing. Ateneo has such good players. Lets not put that to waste.

i think factor din na they have practically the same starters for 3 years now...

basa na rin ng ibang teams ung most of the plays nila...

pansin ko rin di na effective si ho at pascual sa mga quick hits nila..at di na rin sila masyado ng ruruning spike..yung blocks ni ho at pascual nawala...
magaling si coach Roger gorayeb..pero dapat kinombine nlng ang power ni laborte at gorayeb..kasi si coach roger pansin ko magaling siya mag coach at magdevelop ng spiking skills at reciving skills ng bata..WHILE SI coach mic loborte sa Blocking at mindset ng bata....
