OT lang po. share ko lang, kasi me nabasa akong very disturbing news na nangyari sa Super Liga. This was copied from VolleyWorld. Nalulungkot ako na nangyari ito sa isang Gay Volleyball Player, si Michael Dos Santos.
"A few days ago during the Superliga semifinal match between Sada Cruzeiro & Volei Futuro, Sada Cruzeiro fans chanted homophobic slurs towards Michael, a middle blocker from Team Volei Futuro. The fans kept screaming “Bicha! Bicha! Bicha!” which means “f*g**t“ in English. Such a very, very offensive word to use!
The incident has sparked an outcry in the Brazilian volleyball community. As a matter of fact, the Ministério Público de Minas is currently investigating and evaluating the incident. The prosecutor said that there’s even a possibility that Cruzeiro fans will banned from attending the next match. Coach Bernardinho Rezende has also expressed his disappointment regarding this matter. He’s against the negative and homophobic acts of the fans and has also requested for both teams to set aside the fighting and just focus on promoting a hate-free volleyball environment."

Setters: Ana Tiemi (1,88 ) and Claudinha (1,82)
Outside hitters: Juliana Nougueira(1,90), Suelle (1,86) and Ivna (1,85)
OP: Tandara (1,86) and Priscila Daroit (1,86)
MB: Natasha (1,89), Andressa (1,94) and Natália Martins (1,87)
These 10 players will joins some of the main team and are going to the Yeltsin Cup...

So ibig sabihin lang nito pwede pa mabago yung line-up nung nasa Team A..
I heard after a long retirement, balik laro na naman ulit si Fernanda Venturini sa Superliga.. sana kunin siya siya ulit ni Ze Roberto sa NT.

I doubt kung kukunin pa si Fernanda ni Ze Roberto. Andiyan naman si Fabiola eh pati si Dani Lins. IMHO, ngayong Olympic Cycle nato kelangan nila magtrain at masanay sa setter other than Fofao or Fernanda... Retiring age na kasi yung dalawa.
Ewan ko ba, Brazil is home to the finest volleyball players in the World pero they can't seem to produce a topnotch setter after Fofao and Fernanda compared to say, USA na andaming magaling.

Yun na nga eh, si Fabiola na yung isa na sa best setter ng Brazil ngayon kaya nagiinvest na si Ze Roberto sa kanya pero parang nakukulangan pa din ako sa kanya, napakapredictable ng sets niya same with Dani Lins. Yung si Ana Tiemi, sayang yung tangkad niya as a setter pero bumagsak yung laro niya sa Superliga kaya yun tuloy Team B na yung bagsak niya.
Nakapagtataka at dina kinuha ni Ze Roberto si Carol Gattaz gayong ang ganda pa man din ng performance niya sa Superliga at dun sa WCH.

Carol Gattaz can be a back up middle blocker. Mas magaling lng talaga ang dalawang nabanggit kaya medyo di sya nagagamit that often unless off ang laro ng isang sa kanila. Good MB naman eh kaya lng hindi superb. ehehe:)
