Larson pa rin starter in major tournaments...over her. Yeah. Nag improve nga siya sa blocking. Pero tingin ko, siya naman hirap pag maganda blocking ng kalaban. Hirap niya ipalusot palo niya. And minsan, ang PANGET ng mga off speed niya and hulog. Kuhang kuha ng kalaban. May similarities sila umatake ni Larson and Logan Tom. Mga long balls palagi. Minsan lang talaga bumaon.

I might not see how this Japan team plays, pero mukhang ganda nga ng depensa nila. [DL kasi ng DL sis ko kaya uber buffer ang streaming ko. ] I'm rooting for a JAPAN v USA Finals!

Congrats Japan for defeating China in 3 sets (25-22, 25-19, 25-23). Top scorer is Ebata Yukiko with 23 points (22 attacks and 1 block).
USA naman! Let's go USA!

Japan's best hitter - Kimura Saori Japan's best setter - Yoshie Takenutsa Japan's best defender and receiver - Yuko Sano They skipped this tournament in preparation for the more important ones but Japan still managed to win vs China's Team A, Cuba's Team A, USA's Team B to win the crown. This goes to show that Japan is on track to becoming a top 5 team again. I am a fan of this team, the tactics they employ, their reception and defense almost close to perfect, its just amazing. Yukiko Ebata is becoming a Kimura Saori. 21 years old, 5'9 but is unstoppable. Congrats Japan! Being Asian, I am proud of this team.

Japan is my second favorite team next to Brazil. i don't know. i just love how they play inside the court. parang mga batang paslit na naghahabulan sa loob para ma save ang bola. way back pa nga ng 2000 when Ai Otomo ( Yamamoto now ) still plays sa junior team nila, gusto ko na ang team Japan. From how they execute their plays, i believe they will have a shot at the finals this year sa Grand Prix.

kahit ang liit nila compared to other tall teams they can still score... grabe yung defense ng setter nung kalaban ang china. almost kill na yung bola, sila pa ang pumuntos..
