hahaha nakannang naunahan ako ni presar....pero ang version ko hindi sila magkasundo ni Matlak.... From what I read both daw eh.. Still, Skowronska is a huge loss! pero si glinka not a logical choice for this tournament? ang tanong ay ang Shape niya kung kaya niya bumalik kaagad sa top form nia Was never a fan of Glinka. Though she was Poland's main OH the past few years, she was never a good receiver. good attacker maybe. Anyway, she might play Opposite. But meron na silang lefty (Zaroslinska) plus Kaczor na parehong magaling pero inconsistent..Still I believe Skowronska is the best option on that spot.

yes, glinka as an opposite was also what i've been thinking. i do remember skowronska playing middle blocker sometimes when glinka was in the team. hahaha nakannang naunahan ako ni presar....pero ang version ko hindi sila magkasundo ni Matlak.... Middle Blocker naman ang talagang position ni Kasia bago naging Utility..tapos si Glinka Opener talaga

Sana hindi tinanggal si Skowronska-Dolata. Poland has a good chance of reaching the semis since their Pool (Pool A) is the "easiest" amongst all of the Pools...they only have Japan and Serbia as tough opponents. [POOL B has Italy, Brazil, Netherlands, POOL C with USA, Cuba, Germany, POOL D with China, Russia, DR].
Anna Baranska is a world-class OH. She's only 5'10 but she has a very good armswing. I'm a fan hehe

@ Karpol
Yes, I know. That's why I said Poland has a chance to go to the semis kasi 'easier' ang 2nd round nila (Pool A and Pool D combined) with possible opponents like Russia, China (undermanned), Japan, Serbia and Dominican Republic compared with the 2nd round of Pool B and Pool C combined with possible teams like Brazil, USA, Italy, Cuba Netherlands, Germany, Thailand, etc.

hindi ba't ang sistema sa china ay city- and province-based? like you only get to play for your city's team? ito bang evergrande ay gano'n din? i just looked up the line-up, aba'y panay former national players sila. they can't all possibly live in on city. i guess nag-i-iba na ang rules sa china? tama ba?

China is missing Rui Huoqi, their 2nd (sometimes 1st) best weapon after Wang Yimei. She is a very good OH, parang "Natalia Perreira" with better reception and a more mature game! She was China's top scorer when their team played USA in Montreux in the Gold medal match. Tough loss! Chen Liyi is taking her spot. Chen is not a terminator parang Jordan Larson ang laro.
Yes Martina Guiggi is out due to an injury. Was hoping she'll be in..
Ivana Djesirilo of Serbia is also out. She was the starting OH for Serbia in Beijing games.

babalik kaya c tayyiba haneef sa team USA? sana OH sya palit kay larson.. para solid tlga blocking ng USA, para tapatan nila ung mga higante ng russia... hehehe
