It was an all FEU show during the play-off yesterday. Sa FEU, parang wala lang ang laro sa kanila. Sa UST naman, kita mo andun ang effort pero FEU was really too much for them. Anyway, I just hope that in the Finals they can regain their bearings back and beat the Tams.

Score updates on the UST-MVT
(playing AdU at this time, at The Arena)

Adu takes first set, 25-20

UST takes 2nd set, 25-17

AdU takes 3rd set, 25-20.

UST takes 4th set, 25-16.

UST takes the 5th set, 16-14.

UST-MVT wins in 5 sets!

And so the UP MVT ends their season with a 3-set loss to reigning champion FEU, 25-11, 25-14, 25-19.

Sayang na-cut ang coverage kung kelan pa naman lumaban kahit papaano yung UP. FEU was just too strong and too fast. Kaya nga ayoko sana silang makalaban sa Final 4. Nangangamoy 4-peat na sa men's volleyball. I've got to hand it to FEU, ang galing talaga nila. They have everything: speed, height, blocking, power and Mabbayad. Ibang level talaga siya at pati na rin si Lopez na ang galing mag-set. I'm rooting for them in the finals, but I'm not counting out UST.

Overall, notwithstanding the first 2 sets of today's match, I have a lot to be happy about this UP team, and a lot to look forward to in the coming seasons. Despite having a very young team, they beat more veteran teams such as AdU and UE and held their own against FEU and UST in the elims to make it to the Final 4. With other teams losing key players to graduation, baka mas may laban na next year.

Anyway, finals na. Good luck to both FEU and UST.
