grabe talaga kagabi sa arena. parang first set palang ng feu-ust eh hiyawan na. ust got their grooves back, at nademoralize na ung feu towards the latter part of 4th set. talagang malaking hurdle ang walang matinong open hitter.
OBSERVATIONS: (panay ust lang meron, ako mixed na review)
si jamie peña of lpu todo improve at napagiwanan na niya si cabanag. i say na cabanag should not be a part of first six. 3 points lang ata nagawa niya sa buong game. binilang ko talaga. yung 2 points nung first set. tapos yung 1 point nung 2nd or 4th set. nainis talaga ako sa kanya ng bonggang bongga. sana makahanap ng matinong open hitter si nes pamilar.
napansin ko lang. ay mali. pansin na pansin ko pala, super lakas ni vivas sa middle. kahit running hit niya na outside, ang lakas pa rin. ewan ko ba, ano kaya nakain ni vivas. pati mga services niya kargado. nafacial pa ata ng serve niya si maru.
nagconspire ata sina vivas at shai na magdrop sa gitna. marami high balls ang di nakuha ng uste na bumagsak sa gitna.
maru was a bigger revelation. pangit reception niya nuong una. pero mas pangit naman reception ni dindin. kaya lakas niya bumawi sa mga attacks. konteng utak na lang. ala nga ako nakitang drop ball kay maru eh. puro power. as in power.
Angge, for me, hindi masyadong lumutang. ewan ko, pero parang napaghandaan siya ng feu. ang hindi nila napaghandaan eh si maizo. no need to explain.
ortiz was not on high with attacks. 2 -3 points lang ata nagawa niya sa attacks. pero blocking was monstrous! vivas eh nahuhuli niya na. galing talaga. naramdaman ko lang attacks niya nung 3rd at 4th set.
one of the best highlight, yung si fortuno eh nagkamaling isave ang outside return ng free ball ni daquis. excited siguro siya na mahawakan ang bola. natawa naman talaga ako dun. pero mas natatawa ako kay pimentel. walang kaeffort-effort pumatay ng bola. kahit hindi na ata tumalon eh mamamatay pa rin yung bola niya eh. one thing lang, kelan kaya babalik yung true form niya? kase siguro kung round 2 na ng feu-ust, feu would hae learned its lesson.
dmac and jose. bravo. ganda ng plays na ginawa nila. pati mga drops sa gitna. i love them! contenders for best setter. sila lang dalawa. basta sila lang.
daquis and maizo delivered. sila talaga ata ang bumuhay sa kanilang mga teams. masaya ako at hindi tumama predictions ni speaker. feu talagang pushed the envelope kahit hanggang 4 sets lang. sobrang hiyawan ang mga tao. best game this conference. i think feu can beat ust next time.
mas marami supporters ng feu kagabi kesa sa ust. okay lang kahit natalo sila. i think and i know they lost to a better team.
QUICK NOTE SA UST_ADMU.
ang malamang na pumapatay sa ust eh drop ball. sa gitna butas sila eh. dapat magadjust sila sa game sa ateneo kasi charo really loves to play with her brains. sa laro kahapon, walang power siya na ginamit. for me, humina na ng husto si charo. she is not as intense as she was. drops lang, off the block, slowquick. ewan ko a. pero alang malakas na palo talaga si charo.

Congrats din pla to maru banaticla... first time i've seen her play and she's quite small for an open when we talk of ust but she can definitely spike.. her angles are very sharp and high leaper... konting snap pa and she'll be deadly... rox pimentel definitely still a force to reckon with in the middle but syempre.. medyo malau na compared to her old self... but as we said, rox pimentel is rox pimentel period... ortiz,,, medyo kabado pa rin with her quick spikes.. kpag ndi perfect ang set.. she sometimes hesitates which causes her to make errors by hitting it outside or kung minsan over na lang... she has to establish her dominance in the middle simply becoz when she jumps,, not too many players can reach her na... kayang tiwala lang sa sarili and conting yabang when you play... on fortuno... still a lot of room for improvement nonetheless she had a decent showing kahapon but definitely above average when we talk of rookie libero's... good job... on dmac.. well, well, well.. good distribution of balls and prescence of mind.. knows how and when to put matters on her own hands.. ung mga drop balls nya kahapon are very unexpected and nakatingin lahat ng players ng feu dun sa drop balls nya but no one dared to get it... great job of setting ur teammates... on angeli.. 1st time to see her again play in a span of almost 2 years na ata... she still has the power but meron pa ring mga unforced errors gaya ng dati.. medyo basa sya kahapon that's why she was'nt able to score that many points but when it comes to points that matter, she always deliver... go for more variety of shots and more pa-mewang looks pa... last but definitely not the least... AIZA MAIZO was a monster kahapon.. I was surprised that she hits from all parts of the court... open, utility, middle and even backrow... wow.. amazing talent from ust... i believe she was the missing factor in the uaap run of ust last season 70.. ung last year nila balse and bernal... now, definitely she's the front runner when it comes to the mvp plum... she's like a scoring machine when she's in front... grabe ang lalakas ng palo... sna more on combi plays pa kasi ngayon pa nga lang na open na xa e she can deliver those hard spikes.. what more if she's left with one or no blocker at all... haha... for me, she will be ust's main man together with tabaquero and pimentel... Good Luck with your next game against lyceum... mga dapat tandaan when it comes to lyceum is that they've improved a lot in terms of attacking and blocking... put emphasis on stoping guliman in the middle dpat bantay sarado and cases on the open... match up dapat kay cases is maizo in blocking and rox on guliman... ust in 3 sets.. i hope... viva santo tomas... laban... go for gold...

hahaha... may.ginawa aku.. inutusan kasi aku ng mama kow.. hehe.. ala aku magawa.. hehehe... uu nga ehh.. tingnan na lang natin.. hehehe... pagkatapos po siguro nang feu admu game.. saka pa aku maka.decide kung sinu ba talga.. hehehe same here. actually sa mga nabasa ko, mostly favorable sa admu-ust finals match ee but surprisingly here comes feu another tough contender even without one of their ace players, morada =P mai iba pang teams na ndi pa nakikitang maglaro, baka mai surprise din cla. hehe so i don't think admu-ust game on sunday(?) is yet to be the barometer on who's going to be on finals =) opps.. sabi poh nila.. sa tuesday po ang game ng uste-admu.. na move daw poh.. oct. 20 tuesday.. hehehe.. correct me if im wrong.. |

Natakot ang ADMU sa UST para daw mag handa ng todo hahaha si Ricky Palou ang head ng Ateneo Athletic department ang nasa Commisioner board ng VLeague, asa pa tau hehe
Pati rules nila Tentative 1 week before the league start ganun lagi, mas advantage yung Manok nilang team na matagal na palang nag hahanda
