What can you say about the line-up of FEU this time around?
Offense wise, very stable and dangerous ang line-up ng FEU
ngayon added by the power of Carolino and the unstoppable Salak at defense wise, matatag ang kanilang floor defense as everybody says that FEU has one of the scrappiest teams in UAAP together with Adamson. In terms of net defense, pangungunahan naman ito ni Salak, Daquis & Vivas -- I must say na these girls mentioned are the tallest girls in the team.. not bad for FEU na kahit maliliit ang mga attackers, they still manage to stop the attacks of the tall spikers.
And now, I'm going to classify their strengths & weaknesses individually..
Daquis- the leader of the pack, siya ang bumubuhay at nagpapalakas ng loob ng miyembro ng team, she can also block really well and hit very hard.. will she take home the championship title that was stolen to them last UAAP season 71?
Morada- as we all know, she's very famous in her deadly quick spikes, running spikes and she can also do excellent digs she's definitely unstoppable in that position but we may also notice that she lack self-esteem, medyo may time na off ang laro niya meron din naman sobrang husay..
Gonzalez- one of the high leapers probably in the league.. she can receive the ball whether if it is a floater or jump serve, also she has a very good floor defense and should we forget her bullet-like quick hits?
Vivas- she may be similar to Daquis' open spikes but she has her own trademark and that is the down the line hit and back set.. she has the potential to portray the abilities of Rachel maybe next season..
Jose- effortless, that is the word that suits best for her as a setter. She can do a back set, open set and quick set. She also has a very good floor defense especially in digging department.
Taganas- undeniably she is one of a heck libero. She manages to receive and dig the ball effortlessly.. Fearlessly dives for the ball and she absolutely did her job as a libero..
Carolino & Salak- hindi ko pa sila nakikitang maglaro pero sabi nila malalakas daw talaga pumalo ang mga ito. Samahan pa natin ng setting ability ni Salak..
For sure at siguradong sigurado ako na hindi na maiitsapwera ang FEU at hindi na nila sasabihing training ground ang v league dahil seryoso na yata sila dito para sa last playing year ni Rachel Daquis kumbaga parang regalo na nila 'to sa kanya.. :]
