well, based from today's game (adu vs ust)
i can perfectly say that the game will not be as elephantine as expected
disappointments will surge.
UST has been sugar-coated for the longest of time.
DLSU, quite the contrary, does not live in the past.
UST's prime is during the double b tandem. and today is not that day.
DLSU is at its best. don't underestimate the archers.
when UST rolls, it rolls in a gusto!
when UST falls, it falls to a fiasco.
one thing that i always see in this forum is that everybody gloats of UST, and all other things that you can connect to the Tigresses. however most of the time, through all the gloating, forumers fail to see that the UST squad is only a squad. it is not comprised by super heroines.
the players also fail. and i believe that the UST players have had their numbers. they will not always win; they have to lose at some point. and i concede to this fact. but fans never know when to admit the shortcomings of their favorites.
i see DLSU as a tough team. and i think that they deserve to be recognized. i concede to the fact that though UST is strong, someone would always be stronger. and in that circle of "someone", i see DLSU.
i am not a fan of any of the two teams. but even if DLSU would play against my favored team, i would relinquish to the fact that DLSU is a stalwart squad. and this is what many people fail to recognize: when to concede, and when to contradict.

i think... this game will be one of only few games that ust is the underdog... hmmm... mas enjoy no pressure...

i believe same as nakasulat sa ibang post... all teams undergoes rebuilding moment... i think UST is in that time pa... but lets wait and see...

Calling a moderator, paki-pin na rin mo itong game thread sa taas 3 ang games sa tuesday. To bschem: sino ba ang nagsu-sugar coat sa UST team, lagi mo na lang ine-emphasize sa mga post mo. Medyo nakakasuya na and it borders in bashing kasi may single target ka na team. Parang init na init ka sa UST team, sort of a fetish. Malakas naman talaga ang UST on paper pero like what happen sa last UAAP kinulang sila sa floor defense. Rebuilding ang USTe, especially ngayon may nag-quit pang starter. And I also believe that DLSU is the team to beat ngayong v-league and the incoming UAAP. Pero sa tingin ko hindi nahuhuli ang UST sa DLSU. Tingnan mo na lang ang nangyari sa Unigames baka ganyan din ang mangyari sa UAAP. USLS-DLSU FEU UST Adamson. |

hmmm... i think we should respect lang all opinions so that we can avoid confrontation... peace...
we always have our biases... that's evident po sa lahat ng members, even moderators... its not sugar coating but more on favoring... ganyan po talaga... we should not be fighting... peace...

oo nga.. ganyan talaga sa isang game, may nananalo, may natatalo (luma na to ehh).. haha.. on the sugar-coating issue, i think that it should not be generalized to all the fans.. and i agree to dncpn that it's more of "favoring" actually.. it's the love for your favorite team.. and "favoring" or "sugar coating" is inevitable in all aspects of life.. there will always be a "self-serving" or "group-serving" bias..
having said these things, i would still want UST to win.. DLSU is a very strong team, di ako masiyadong malulungkot kung matatalo ang ust.. Go USTe!!!
