Adamson spikers win

Adamson University subdued Lyceum, 25-17, 25-23, 25-18, yesterday in the fifth season of Shakey’s V-League at The Arena in San Juan City.
The Lady Falcons, runners-up in the UAAP volleyball tournament last season, blew hot in the first set, cold in the second and then went full throttle in the third in dismissing the Lady Pirates, who absorbed their second straight setback in as many outings.
Guest player Nerissa Bautista produced 14 kills to backstop Adamson, which had anxious moments in the second set when the Lady Falcons fell into a maze of errors before joining Ateneo and San Sebastian at the top of the standings with a similar 10 card.
The Lady Falcons were lethargic at the start of the second set, blocking only one shot and committing seven errors that enabled the Lady Pirates to take a 20-16 lead.
Adamson, however, refused to give up the set and dug deep into its bag of tricks to steal the set behind Bautista’s four straight points that tied the count and the strong stance by Rissa Laguilles, Angela Benting and Michelle Segodine in the ensuing plays.
"It was a good game kaya lang nag-relax ang mga bata pagdating ng second set. Inaantay nila ang kalaban. But all in all, okey naman sila," said Adamson coach Dulce Pante, recently appointed by the Philippine Volleyball Federation as head coach of the women’s national team.

im proud of the guts of feu... though they have more rookies and "weaker" line up, they still managed to join the league. di sila takot ipakita na bago line up nila. talo kung talo,mahina kung mahina, rookies kung rookies pero kasali pa rin. they never reject the invitation of v-league. unlike with ust, which turned down the invitation twice already because they lack players daw.sana ipakita din ng ust ang tapang nila.baka magtampo v-league nyan?

I think kailangan daw mag-aral nung ibang players nila tapos nainjure yung key players, yun yung narinig ko. May sasalihan daw na tourney sila sa May eh. Baka dun nila ipapakita yung younger line-up nila, hindi sa V--League.

galing din ng pinakita ng csb this game. hataw na ang players wala nang hiya hiya.
HELLO, MAGPAPAKILALA LANG PO AKO ULET, LILET MABBAYAD PO ANG PANGALAN AND THIS IS HOW I BLOCK.
i think csb will play better next game.

bakit kaya hindi naglaro si Abanto?? ung laro ng lady tams kanina parang hindi ung actual FEUWVT.. parang nag aadjust pa sila sa pagkawala ng ibang mga players like semana, daquis and cafranca.. un lang.. and sana ayusin ni Jose ung pag set nya ng bola. laging kay cabanag kahit check na ung laro nya, lagyan naman nya ng variation and style.. wow hehe anyways. congrats FEU maganda din kung ganito sila sila din kasi next uaap season. usap sa court ang kailangan, may nagaagawan, minsan nagkatinginan lang. congrats feu! |
