kanina ko lang nalaman nangyari sa lasalle nung nanood kami sa rizal memorial, nung nakita ko team standings na mas mataas pa placing ng UP sa lasalle, yun na nga nangyari. nakakapanghinayang mga ginawang hirap ni alarca for the team. sayang talaga.

Sobrang sayang! Throughout their games dun lang sa 2nd round match nila ng UST na hindi siya ang top scorer for DLSU eh... In their game against NU kanina, sobrang ramdam ang pagkawala ni Alarca... Even if they were able to defeat NU in 3 sets the scores were 27-25, 26-24 and 25-23... If Alarca was there, the margin could even be in double figures... Hai... |

It was an honest mistake down sabi ng La Salle officials. I think we should give them the benefit of the doubt. Sayang at wala ng chance manalo si Alarca ng any awards because of what happened.
As the saying goes, 'bawi na lang next year.'

I heard Alarca had problems with her academics that's why she had to file for leave of absence. Thinking that she can continue to play for her team in the UAAP. Too bad. I don't think DLSU tried to hide this situation, but rather committed an honest mistake on the part of Alarca and the team.

Her class schedules have conflict with the schedule of games... She thought that she can still play during the third trimester of DLSU even if she is on LOA status since the tournament started in the second trimester of DLSU... But the rule states that a player must be a bonafide student in her university until the end of the tournament... There have been confusions because UAAP is using the usual semestral system calendar while DLSU is using the trimestral system calendar... I agree with you... I don't think DLSU tried to hide the situation, it was indeed an honest mistake |

I do hope the same thing, too... Yun nga lang I'm still wondering, V-league will start by March and the end of DLSU's third trimester for this school year will be on April... Unless V-league is turned into a commercial league, Alarca is only eligible to play as a guest player because her Leave of Absence is valid until the end of the trimester |

Why is Alarca's name still on the latest statistics? Does that mean, qualified pa rin siya to receive awards?
