with the recent development on alarca and with the entry of ADMU in the final 4, i think charo soriano is already shoo-in to win the MVP. aside from the fact that she leads in statistical department, i think one factor that what makes her most valuable is the fact that she was able to bring ADMU to its first final four appearance. without soriano, ADMU will not be that successful.
Let's consider the other contender and how valuable they are in their respective team:
Bernal - even if you take bernal out of UST, it will still be a competitive team
Balse - the same analogy as bernal
Laguilles - ganun din
Daquis - ganun din and they have already proven that nung mga unang laban nila.
But in the case of soriano, tangalin mo siya sa ADMU, sure, they can win a game or two pero am sure they will not enter the final 4.
Much as i want ging to win the MVP in her final season but let's accept the fact na medyo mahirap na. anyway, wala na siyang dapat i-prove. she is considered as one the best if not the best and the most popular volleyball player in the country today and was able to up the level of volleyball popularity in the country.

Mag-iiba din ba ang rankings sa Best Server and Best Blocker category?
Si Alarca kasi ang leading sa mga departments na iyan.
If ever na ganun ang mangyayari, mag-aagawan na lang sila
Hernandez(DLSU), Castañeda(UP) at Soriano(AdMU) sa Best Blocker
Category. Sa Best Server naman, agawan sila Laguilles at Benting.. if ever .,

^ I guess the Best Blocker award already belongs to Celine Hernendez, unless Dani Castaneda was able to produce a lot of block points in their match today against UE... Medyo malaki na kasi yung lamang ni Celine from Dani...
^For the Best Server, dyan na may agawa... It's between ADU's Sang Laguilles, Angela Benting, and Jackie So, FEU's Rachelle Anne Daquis (also last season's Best Server), and UST's Mary Jean Balse... Dito kasi medyo maliliit ang margin and eversince talagang nagbabago-bago ang ranking, except that Alarca remained on top for a long time

i voted charo to be the mvp because she really deserves it..
kundi dahil sa kanya, di sana sila nakapasok sa final four (disregard the withdrawal of alarca.....)

i think soriano deserves this season's mvp... she is the most versatile spiker in the league (open spikes, running spikes, quick hits and backrow attacks) and she is also leading the league in digs and is 4th in the blocking standings... go charo!

The sole basis for the best digger award is the player's average number of excellent digs per set... For the best receiver, the sole basis is the efficiency rating of player's excellent receptions minus the fault receptions |
