What gave UST the win was their excellent defense at the net... Ging Balse, Venus Bernal, and Denise Tan are all in their A game... Joey Torrijos was a revelation... She produced a lot of crucial points for UST

Seems like they really love working under pressure. I was in a big surprise for their defense. They were all over the court, plus very hard working on keeping the ball alive. All of them were contributing well. They showed us the definition of teamwork.

Kudos to UST! It was a very well deserved win.

the lady tigresses were relaxed, composed and simply oozing with confidence. defense on the net is superb! floor defense is better. i really hope this girls continue to work hard defensively. reception's still not excellent but denise managed to come up with decent sets today. i'm glad about her ball distribution. it's good to see everyone contributing.

vhen had a couple of nice back slide running hits.
ging had a very good net game. kudos! she had a couple of nice hits also.
ange played a nice game. and that pancake dig. hahaha! i could not help but yell... PUTO!!! hehehe!
joey's hits were effective and precise. i wonder what percentage did she get from today's game.
hanna certainly made her presence at the net felt by adamson. if i'm not mistaken, she had a good middle hit earlier.

after a landslide first set loss, adamson kept a fighting stance both in the second and third set. they fought really close but fell short towards the end of the sets. no lady falcon really had a heyday today. benting had minimal points, so did laguilles. it will be interesting to see this teams battling out on court again.
