Alam ko medyo late pero at least may story tayo about the game.

Adamson and Far Eastern University bested their respective semis rivals in contrasting fashions yesterday to set up what is expected to be an exciting title showdown in the UAAP women’s volleyball competition at the Arena in San Juan.
The Lady Falcons, who topped the double-round elims, downed No. 4 Ateneo in straight sets, 25-19, 26-24, 25-16, to advance to the finals for only the second time since joining the tournament in 1974. Ma. Josephine Cafranca of FEU; Joanna Marie Torrijos
But it was the Lady Tamaraws who scored the more impressive win as they outlasted last year’s champion University of Santo Tomas in five sets, 25-19, 25-19, 15-25, 21-25, 15-9.
With the win, the Morayta-based spikers, who emerged No. 2 team in the semis, got the chance to redeem themselves after their heart-breaking setback to UST last year.
Not only that, they also reaffirmed their mastery over the No. 3 Tigresses, having beaten the España-based squad four times this year.
Game 1 of their best-of-three title series is slated on Sunday also at the Arena.
FEU is hoping to win its 29th crown while the Adamson is gunning for a firs-ever crown.
Shaira Gonzalez shone brightest for the Lady Tamaraws as she scored the game’s crucial points that all but took the fight out of the Tigresses.
She finished with 21 points while long-time buddy Rachel Anne Daquis added 18 markers to frustrate UST’s back-to-back bid.
Gonzalez and Daquis were ably supported by Macaila Morada and Anna Abanto who had 14 points apiece.
Though they encountered stiff resistance from the Tigresses, the Lady Tamaraws still managed to win the first two sets.
But the Tigresses fought back valiantly in the third and fourth sets through the efforts of reigning MVP Mary Jane Balse and Venus Bernal that set the tone for a wild finish.
"Ang pagkakamali lang namin ay wala kami sa focus sa third and fourth sets," FEU mentor Ernesto Pamilar said. "Kaya ang sinabi ko lang sa kanila ay maniwala sa sarili nila at maniwala sa sarili."
That worked wonders for the Lady Tamaraws as Gonzalez came through with thunderous spikes to finally settle the fight before a huge crowd.
UST mentor August Sta. Maria purposely sat in the stands and gave the coaching chores to his deputy Shaq Delos Santos in the hope of ending their jinx to the Lady Tamaraws.
Their ploy did not work, though.
A Gonzalez hit sparked a bristling 5-1 run that gave FEU a 10-6 lead.
UST countered with 3-1 attack to move within, 9-12. But that proved to be the Tigresses’ final stand as FEU peppered the opposite court with variety of shots capped by Daquis’ spike for the final count.
