Almost two weeks to go before you turn 18, X! Haha.) Position: Outside Hitter or Open Spiker Weight: 69 kg Height: 186 or 6′2 Spike Reach: 284 cm or 9′5 Block Reach: 280 cm or 9′2 I noticed in our notable players’ section that all of the interviewees are usually from the women’s volleyball division, so I decided to change and go into the distaff side. Last night, I had the opportunity to talk to one of the most highly recruited volleyball players in the collegiate scene. He comes from the UAAP Boys Volleyball Season 70 1st Runner-Up De La Salle Santiago Zobel and is part of the National Youth Team which was sent to Singapore to join the 3rd Asian Schools Volleyball Championships. There are five schools who recruited him namely San Beda, Ateneo, UST, UP and La Salle. But among the five, he chose and will study at the Ateneo and will take up BS Management. By the way, he has a brother, Miguel, who is also part of the UAAP Juniors Team of La Salle. Notice how this tall spiker answers my interview questions in a very childish manner. Kidding, X! Haha. Trivia: He once scored 33 points in a UAAP juniors game against the Ateneo Blue Eaglets who eventually placed 3rd. Grabe ang Players ngayon, ang tatangkad at ang babata. Just like the ROY of Men's UAAP -- si Ramos..16 palang pala sya! whew!  ang tangkad naman!!! |

ang tangkad ng ADMU-MVT. They have pareha who is 6'5, then this young one who is 6'2.

sa Ateneo na daw po sila mag-aaral dahil lahat po sila ay nakapasa ng acet.

ang tangkad ng ADMU-MVT. They have pareha who is 6'5, then this young one who is 6'2. dagdag niyo pa po is mike de joya na 6'4 rin po. si aj pareja po yung #2 best scorer tapos si mike de joya po yung #3. pareho po silang taga-admu. parang balse-bernal tandem. hehe. |

If thats true.. Kahit next season may panlaban na ang Ateneo.
I'll ask Jamenea Ferrer of HCHS if totoo yun.. Naging friend ko kasi
siya., Hehe. If ever na totoo yun. Wow!
Hehe.. Si Gohing? Grabe din yan humampas .. madepensa pa ! hehe.. Same with Gervacio
and especially si Cainglet. Hehe.
Si Ferrer naman pwedeng-pwede niya na palitan si Bello. Hehe.

whoa!! ang lakas ng recruitment ng ateneo!! lalo na si gervacio?! whaaaaaaaaat?! sa ateneo siya napunta? huhuhuhu.. anyway, kahit muscle lalaki siya, magaling parin siya.. amp!
si cainglet naman, each year nagiging mvp siya.. adeeek!! waaaah!!
ano na kaya kapalaran ng ust??

just a correction to cheskadefensor: cainglet, gervacio, gohing and ferrer are not yet sure whether they will go to ateneo or not. they are still considering other options. cainglet is considering bet ateneo and UP while gervacio, gohing and ferrer are considering bet ADMU and DLSU. I know these 4 personally and that's what they told me.
to onze11: for the past two seasons st. scho manila was the champion in wncaa HS WB. san beda was runner-up.
