Russia started using their middles a lot more kaysa dati. Tapos naging consistent na pala yung Scherban ng Russia mapa receive or attack. No wonder natalo USA. Kung Wing Spikers lang ang pag uusapan USA can't hold a candle sa Russia. Isama mo pa middles kahit konti lang malate lang blockers ng kaunti para sa mga wings nila.Even Brazil's team A would have a hard time with them.

Same scenario sa game vs. serbia bantay sarado yung mga attacks ng usa.. medyo predictable magset si glass pagout of system plays and medyo mabagal ang approach ni lowe kya naabangan na agad ng blockers yung bola and poor reception na rin... usa needs a lot of work to do. di sila umuubra sa european teams na full force yung line up..how sad na wala sila kht man lng sa top 3 finishers ng WC. Bawi na lang USAMVT kasi olats ang USAWVT! Mukhang Russia and Serbia ang top 2 teams na magqua2lify sa rio.

Laglag pa Russia. Sayang ganda pa naman ng performance nila sa World Cup. Nakakagulat Serbia. Swerte naman ng USA.
Hindi ko pa napapanood China pero akala ko kaya nila kasi mukhang mga bago sa NT.

ang sabi ng russia ay nag-concentrate sila nang maigi laban sa usa. perhaps what they meant was that they knew to which hitter the ball would go and adjusted accordingly, since usa plays a system in which the ball goes to specific players depending on the pass (i think).

di pa ako makachoose kung sinong teams ang top faves.. after first week pa ako pipili ng team ko.. pero bet ko iran kasi pang unpredictable sila..

China is definitely the hardest to beat since they are pretty good in def and off plus they could run the slide all day. It's also good to have a player like Zhu Ting para sa quick open hit/backrow, di makahabol block.
USA's middles have been pretty predictable tapos their WS lacks power from the backrow. Tapos basang basa ang receiving pattern ng USA.
Glass setting was a bit like Kosianenko during the china-russia match, pinipilit niya kahit hindi pwede.
Sa Russia naman baka Startseva could return to her starting setter position if she keeps on improving on her middle plays. I think kapag basag ang reception ng russia, mas nagagawan niya ng paraan. Kosianenko needs good reception para maka set ng maganda.

for usa, i think fawcett should replace lowe as starter.
hindi kaya kaya mukhang nagagandahan ni startseva ang mga basag na reception e dahil mala-bundok ang mga set niya? hard hitters like goncha and koshe can better prepare for those types of set kasi.
sa men's, i'm rooting for USA, italy, russia, poland and iran. can't wait for the first four teams to play each other. i do fear for russia's offense, though, once na makaharap sila ng magaling na serving team. (i just checked today's results, and it seems that tetyukhin started in the first two sets of their match against venezuela.)

Shaky start for Russia vs. Venezuela sa first set pero the nung set 2 and 3 ayun nakagetover na sila sa kaba. Good start for USA, Poland and Italy!!
Looking forward sa mga matches ng Top 5 rank team!! minus Brazil syempre!!

I really think kailangan ni Kosheleva na maglaro sa Brazil club since madami ata na stars ng NT ng Brazil na balak mag-europe. Medyo kawawa sina Malova at Scherban/Pasynkova kapag sabay sina Goncha at Koshelevasa court. Kailangan niya talagang mag improve sa defense.
Malova imo is becoming such an asset for Russia gumaganda na pati yung underhand sets niya.

At suggestion sana, di naman sa minamaliit ko ang Africn team pero sana parang may games sila against higher rank teams na parang knock out games. Mas exciting kasi kapag malalakas ang teams na sasali. hehe.
