napakadaming forums tungkol sa philippine women's volleyball team pero kahit isa walang makapagsabi kung sino-sino ang nasa line-up! parang pinag-uusapan natin ang team na di naman nag-exist!
di ba kayo napapagod ng kakatanong at kakahula kung sino ang mga players na nasa PWVT?
im sure kahit ang PVF ay di rin alam kung sino ang mga players nila! inutil talaga!!

Parang next year eh SEA Games na uli d ba?  |

I heard na after PVF Competition eh nagkaroon try outs pero same people pa rin ang sumali sa try outs....... |

PVF's Sec.Gen Otie CAMANGIAN released today the official 18-MAN RP Women's Volleyball Team
They will start training this month in preparation for 2009 Laos Southeast Asian Games and 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games.

Volleyball prepares for Laos SEAG

Women’s volleyball will not be caught with an unprepared team again.
The volleyball association announced yesterday that it has formed a national pool of 18 players which will be trained to compete in the 2009 Laos Southeast Asian Games.
The early preparation is being made to avoid a repetition of what transpired during the Thailand Southeast Asian Games where no volleyball team competed.
Philippine Volleyball Federation (PVF) secretary-general Oti Camangian said the members were selected following a two-week tryout supervised by national coach Cesael Delos Santos at the Rizal Technological University gym in Mandaluyong City.
"We are very pleased to announce that we have now a new women’s team that will represent the country in future events, including the 2009 Laos SEA Games," Camangian said.
"Our team is mostly composed of young players from various universities who play in the UAAP and NCAA. We hope to start building future champions from here," Camangian added.
Former UAAP MVP Mary Jean Balse of the University of Santo Tomas heads the team that starts training this month to toughen up their skills for the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games.
Also included in the line up are Venus Bernal and Angeli Tabaquero of UST, Hannah Suarez, Rubie De Leon, Angela Benting, Nerissa Bautista, Michelle Segodine of last season’s Shakey’s volleyball champion Adamson University and Janet Serafica and Suzanne Roces of reigning UAAP champion Far Eastern University.
Other players are Beverly Boto and Dahlia Cruz of WNCAA three-peat champion Lyceum University of the Philippines, Nica Guliman, Danielle Michiko Casteñeda, Aiza Maizo, Lizlee Ann Gata, Janette Doria and Mary Cristel Rosalie.
