Naglaro siya sa turkey sa european qualifications. She begged off from the world qualifiers kasi pagod na siya (mukhang puno nga naman ang sched niya).

I don't like WGP tournament. Frankly speaking, I even don't know whom for it was made, not for sportsmen for sure.Travelling from place to place, playing 3 weeks, 3 games each week, then playing 5 games in a row - it is unbearable, in the end you have no physical and mental power."

This is gonna be the pool in the coming Olympics: Pool A - Great Britain, Japan, Italy, Russia, Dominican Rep, Algeria Pool B - USA, Brazil, China, Serbia, Turkey, Korea USA will have pretty much the same line up, the weakest link would be the libero and the sub wing spikers. As for Russia, I am quite pissed of Sokolova for not joining the world qualification. I don't see any reason why she should be in the Olympics for others' effort. These seedings/pools are f*cked up. Its going to be tough for teams in Pool B. Italy and Russia will pretty much contend for the top spot. I would not want to be Pool A's 3rd or 4th ranked as this would mean I will face Pool B's 1st and 2nd ranked teams. USA's weakest link, in my opinion, is the wing spikers' (Tom, Larson) attacking capability. No doubt, they are very good all-around players but what I am worried about is both of them are like "jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none" type of players. Not to disrespect Tom who I think is a Top 3 OH in the world right now but her attacking has "dipped" the past few years. Would love to have her old form back. Larson pretty much improved the past 2 years while playing in Russia but it is still question whether she can bring her A-game on consistent basis in the Olympics as the tournament is a very demanding one. Re: Sokolova. I agree, its unfair for other players who travelled to Japan (even with some injuries) just to suit up for the Russian NT. Interested with Serbia...If Nikolic, Malagurski, Molnar and Djerisilo can suit up for this team, boy Serbia will be a tough customer. Watch out USA and Brazil.

And, the serbia-japan game is under investigation by fivb. Kunwari lang yan ng FIVB na nag iimbestiga. Look, Japan brings in a lot of money for FIVB...they consistently host tournaments at parati pa puno ang arenas. I don't think paparusahan nila ang Japan or ano mang bansa just to prove that there was a game-fixing that happened on that Japan-Serbia match. Politics politics politics.

Yes Serbia will be a strong team IF all the players will play, hindi ba dapat Serbia is a strong team regardless of what happened rather than Serbia will be strong IF IF and IF?
