Thank you Cha and Abby ba for keeping your hair?  Sabi nga ni Boom, the other teams are salivating on what they saw earlier. The Lady Eagles must be dehydrated right now. a! Nasaan na ang analyses?  Balita sa men's games? more thanks to maraño. hehe. first game jitters lang siguro yun. di naman siguro nila matatalo ang new rp lineup during the pvf open kung hanggang dun lang ang level of play nila. siguro sa part din ng coaching staff na nag-experiment sa 3rd set para maipasok ang ibang less reliable players nya to gain more experience. but they can't afford to do that against other relatively strong teams coz the opponent will surely take advantage of that situation. The bench players were brought in during the 3rd set because of the unforced errors of the main players. That cost the Lady Spikers big and could have gone to a 5th set, if not for Cha Cruz. While the Lady Falcons really took advantage of it. They stepped up their game. This struggle of the Lady Spikers will be a big problem when they face the big contenders like the Lady Eagles if they don't address it as early as now. |

nagkamali ako nung sinabi kong malalaglag sa f4 ang AdU. mukhang UST ang malalaglag.
pero i think kaya natalo din ng LF ang LS nung 3rd set nagrelax ang LS.

Opinion lang...
DLSU struggles with a very good floor defensive team like ADU. NAgkulang lang sa offense ang ADU.
And since ADMU has a good floor defensive with good offensive attackers, i can see ADMU winning against DLSU.
But it might be too early to tell. first games pa lang naman yun. all of the teams are rookie-laiden (except for ADMU, i don't consider Aly as rookie hehe).
I think consistency will be the key factor for any team to win. Veterans can do so much only. It's still a team sport...

kung ganun ang laro ng DLSU kayang kaya din sila i 3 sets ng ADMU.. but I'm sure mkkpag adjust na agad c coach Ramil.. 5 sets to DLSU.. 3-4 sets ADMU.. ako na ang excited for their match up.=D

my inputs... The lady spikers played very tentative and super pressured. Thats not the best way to defend a crown... dpat may angas, kc nga defending champ. The problem is, the players and the coaching staff are not maangas in the first place.  The last LS na maangas was Mitch D... really really intimidating in court. hahaha. The game also justified the reason for Cha's continuing leadership. Abi is really capable, but she cannot do it alone with almost half of the team being rookies. Although, a win against a very good team is still a win, but thats not how things should be... we should always strive for EXCELLENCE. Animo, DLSU Lady Spikers! |

some observation lang.... not meant to be offensive and open to constructive criticism.
1. ADMU LE, in general, has a good aura... Nice to watch them play. Parang ang saya saya nila sa court. Confident na confident. The TEAM to beat talaga ito for this year.
2. UST LT is really in a tough situation. The coach left. The leader graduated. What worst can happen to a team? A decent finish this year will be a good achievement already. Lastly, this might be the offensive part, MB's attitude on court is not helping at all. I get this impression that napipikon sya sa teammates nya kc hindi sila maka-level up sa galing nya.... parang JF of ADMU last season, sinisimangutan ang mga teammates.
3. FEU LT is surprising this season. Kung last year ay super hyped sila before the season started, only to fall flat when they failed to enter the F4, this year it might be the other way around.
4. Adamson LF is doing surprisingly well without Benting. Credit Coach Dulce for the very good transition. Despite all the criticism on her, at the end of the day, she is really a good coach/tactician. Entertaining din ang mga comments nya, like "kya nyo yan, ipako nyo yan sa 23" at "(on mika r) block lang sya, d naman pumapalo yan" Fan na yata ako ni Mommy Dulce...hahaha.

I think ADU's floor defense and net defense are way better than ADMU. Ito ang magandang panoorin, ADMU vs ADU, best offensive team vs best defensive team. Opinion lang... DLSU struggles with a very good floor defensive team like ADU. NAgkulang lang sa offense ang ADU. And since ADMU has a good floor defensive with good offensive attackers, i can see ADMU winning against DLSU. But it might be too early to tell. first games pa lang naman yun. all of the teams are rookie-laiden (except for ADMU, i don't consider Aly as rookie hehe). It's still a team sport... sa totoo lng i admit that ADU is a better defensive team than admu pero di cla nagkakalayo having the number 1 libero(lazaro). phsically mas kaya ni vasquez ang bugbugan ng ktwan sa paggulong but i think Lazaro is way smarter..... sabhin n nating number1 overall ang ADU sa defense and number2 lng ang ADMU..... the difference in the attacking level is just too much for ADU to handle....IMHO lamang parin tlg ang ADMU sa ADU in many ways. lets just hope that ADMU does not lose focus..... |
