Great game for both squads! Really a nerve-wrecking game! Walang angasan and laro lang from both squads! So happy to see Mia able to block Marano and Mika Reyes several times and hold her ground against a much-favored La Salle Team! Ortiz is really the best middle attacker of the season outscoring and shutting out Marano and La Salle's tower, Mika Reyes!
On a sad note, Banaticla was the Cha Cruz of Season 72, a one-dimensional power-hitter who easily gets frustrated. If she was only in her element and A-game, the tigresses could have won in four sets considering how error-prone the Lady Spikers were.
I still think what the tigresses lack is not the heart but game- composure. They're getting there but they have to get there fast since they don't have the monopoly when it comes to individual and team improvement. Hopefully they learned so much from this match and experience. So excited for the second round ;-)

Cha Cruz happened. I can say that she is now the best open hitter in this season. I love DLSU!
And I would concede the Best Spiker award to Ortiz. Simply unstoppable. Yun lang wala na siya sa front line when DLSU was firing from all cylinders in that 5th set.

sayang but its ok..ust is getting better each game..magingat sila sa 2nd round..i have to commend dusaran..galing niya kanina ..and ortiz is unstoppable..clearly dominating in the middle..gi reyes is mautak knows how to score.
for maru she has mix up her offense..parang ginagawa ni cha..hulog kung hulog..kasi check na siya sa open pag nagspike.
i like mia when she blocked abi...hehe =)
medyo di pa polish ang mga combi plays nila..si juday di ko masyado ramdam sa offense..di masyado naka combi..although meron siyang mga brilliant spikes. And ang galing ng floor defense niya..parang libero
maganda ang floor defense natin kanina..sana parating ganon. galing nila reyes dusaran and judy..pati na rin si rhea nag improve
galing ng service ng ust..sana lahat ng players parang sina maru and rhea mag serve hehe
