kaya mkpagsbayan ng FEU d2.. they just need a reliable opener.. kya lan mas mlkas blocking ng DLSU kesa sa UST so far.. so dpat anticipate na nla na laging blocked mga spikes nla.

not to discriminate FEU, if Basas will continue to play the way she played during the UST game, Coach Nes should consider fielding in Baniel or Bagang.

Sayang tlga ung UST match, kulang pa talaga sa experience ang karamihan sa team. Biruin mo si Agno pa ang pumangit ang receive nung last 4 pts ng USTe, e superb laro niya before.
My 2 cents for this match:
DLSU: Obviously, Marano na ang main gunner nila. As was seen nung USTe match, mahina ang FEU pag napupunta sa endzones at lines ung palo ng kalaban. Expect DLSU to exploit this. Dapat ding tibayan ang blocking at floor defense. Anticipate Eulalio like USTE did, gitna or hulog lang siya sa side ang mga palo niya. Di dapat magpaintimidate si Galang kapag si Roxas ang blocker niya. Gohing should bring her A-game dahil mahilig din magkarga ang FEU sa serves nila.
FEU: Dito sa laban na to mas importante ang floor defense at coverage, given na malalaki ang DLSU. Eulalio should try to vary her spikes, siguro cut shots like Morada pag open hitter ang blocker niya. The open hitters should use the tall blockers to their advantage, at mas lalo na kapag si Esperanza at Galang ang nasa tapat nila. Sy should give out more back quicks for Roxas at middle hits kay Morada, puro siya running last game e. Tas si Bagang na ang gamitin, mas OK siya pumalo kay Basas. Kung kaya si Baniel na lang dahil malakas din pumalo ala Vargas, sayang kung sa utility lang siya.

Kahit FEU fan ako, DLSU siguro to in 4-5 sets. Pero sana makaupset sila. Hehe. Based from last season, mas may laban ang FEU sa DLSU kesa sa Ateneo (na parehas nilang matinik sa floor defense). |

I think dapat itweak konti ng FEU ang rotation nila to shorten the the time that Bagang will be up against Michelle Gumabao. The middle blockers should also be prepared to aid Gyzelle Sy sa blocking para hindi pagpiyestahan ni Cha Cruz/Galang and Marano (sa running attacks).

Sa current rotation kasi ni Coach Nes, Roxas (utility) is beside Vargas (the stronger open hitter) imbes na katabi ni Basas / Bagang (weaker open hitter). Although ang purpose nun ay mabigyan ng maraming combo play ang FEU sa 2 rotations na andun si Vargas sa unahan, nasasacrifice ung 2 rotations na sina Basas at middle hitters lang ang attack option (kasi nasa unahan si Sy).Tulad ng nakita sa USTe match, naexploit yung rotation na un dahil di rin makapatay si Eulalio. Eto siguro ang OK na rotation: Roxas - Bagang / Basas - Morada Eulalio - Vargas - Sy That way, kapag hirap si Basas / Bagang pumalo sa unahan (at di nakapwesto ung middle spikers), 2 out of 3 rotations pwede ibato kay Roxas sa utility. |
