watchoomean? nasa team pa naman si leon a. ^^ bias lang ako hahaha. kung naalagaan lang nila sina leal, leon and juantorena they'll be in the top of the world. yeah, i don't think cuba will make it. wing hitters lang gumagana. ang babata pa ng middle blockers at bench nila. i'm thinking it'll be usa, brazil, italy, russia and poland too. lol Leon was THE guy of men's volleyball around 2-3 years ago. At 15 and with his power and jump he was bound to be a superstar. But what happened? His game plateaued and the confidence that he had before has withered. |

eto yung beauty ng men's game kasi ang bilis ng bola at plays... ang saya panoorin.. Brazil will still retain number one rank.. poland siguro aangat sa rank.. I'm hoping Serbia will make it pero sa pinapakita nila at sa performance ng ibang teams, malabo ang top 3 finish.. hopin to see exciting matches ahead.. Ako naman, ito yung hindi gusto. Hindi ko kasi mapanood sa TV, at parang anong nangyari. and i'm a big fan of digs and digging teams. Yung parang you're at the edge of your seat kasi ang lakas nung palo tapos biglang madidig pa. Kaya naman mas gusto yung women's game. Parang mas technical siya. Sa lalaki kasi ang laking factor nung muscle. but that's just me. |

Looks like Serbia has already conceded this world cup, or was it just strategy to play a totally different first 6 against Russia. And I say this once, I'll say it again - USA plays better with Thornton.

Yesss! USA defeated Iran in 3 sets. Just to add what Heuristics said, the men's game is more of tough serving and blocking whereas sa women naman digging and receiving. Like what USA Men did a while ago, their serving was too tough to handle for the Iranians.
Agree with benchwarmer, Thornton is THE best setter for the USA after Ball. I just can't understand why Hansen continues to be part of that team. He is too slow, too predictable and a liability in blocking. The coaching staff probably thinks he is the 2nd coming of ball which apparently he will not..never in this lifetime. If only Suxho wasn't injury-prone I am sure he would have Hansen's spot.

Two very fast and very good transition teams. Although Argentina did not field in key players, pero so far exciting naman. Daming fans ng Brazil. |

Same here! The balls come just too fast, which is why i like the men's team of brazil. They put up the ball easy like they're just eating a sandwich. On a good day, it's like they have 4 liberos on the floor. Watching their game againsg argentin now. Btw, i just noticed that after the 2008 olympics, hindi na pumapalo sa 6 ang opposite hitters ng mga lalake. And oh yeah, i do agree that argentina is so fun to watch

And oh yeah, i do agree that argentina is so fun to watch Oo nga sa men's parang if you are playing this position, you are only allowed to hit from a certain zone. Pero scary/confusing pa rin for the opposing team when you see 2 frontline guys and 2 backliners approaching for a kill. |

It can be entertaining, but it can look disrespectful and insubordinative (may word bang ganiyan) sometimes too. Serginho, in my opinion, has a lil egoism going on, but it's not the abrasive kind. Anyway, ang sabi nila e dati na ring nagkakainitan silang dalawa, at nagbalak pang hindi na bumalik sa national team si serginho. I love it when Sergio and Bernardinho go at it.
