I agree na experience ang nagpapanalo sa DLSU kahapon with Cruz, Alarca, and Mercado stepping up. UST, on the other hand, had so much confidence kahit natalo sila. With this in minds, sana maging consistent na ang UST at magkaroon ng killer instinct. They could have won the match in 4 sets if not for the 22-25 loss in the 4th set, and eventually, the 12-15 loss in the 5th set. Sayang.

Kaunting hasa pa, pede na si leah for the utility post.

sana imaintain nla confidence nila up to d finals!

I think it wasn't a bad game for DLSU.. ang lakas kaya nila.. nagstart magcollapse yung floor defense nila nung si jane ang server.. nagstart magulo yung blocks nila nung nalilito na sila ni rhea at nagkaiba iba na yung line-up ng UST.. di nila alam kung sino babantayan.. nagstart sila magkagulo nung lumaban na ung UST.. hindi sila sanay na nakakalaban ng ganun ang opponent nila kaya sila narattle.. and the service errors i believe are because of the UST crowd (LOL).. so it was all because of UST.. not just because they were having a bad day.. Precisely. UST team and crowd caused La Salle's weaknesses to come out. But, still, UST lost. So I still have to see La Salle being beaten this season. Let's see first how Ateneo capitalizes on these so called "weaknesses". Otherwise, UST will have its chance again as the only team to beat La Salle this season. Don’t disregard the fact that UST had just formed their line-up last Friday…When we reach the semis and the championship level of the tournament, it doesn’t really matter if you’re a powerhouse team..it’s all mental. It will test the character of the players on how tough they will be. Ayan napa nosebleed tuloy ako..hahaha …ONE FOR UST!!I will definitely watch the finals live… About test-of-character or mental-toughness, for now, I still give it to La Salle, not only for sweeping the elims (on court) but more of for surviving this game against UST. For UST, I still have see these traits only when facing La Salle caused they have already shown this in their other 5-setter games. Take it easy on the nose bleed. I'm just gathering thoughts of UST fans, nothing serious. BTW, what do you mean by "UST had just formed their line-up last Friday"?

UST and DLSU, thank you for that wonderful game. i never thought that it would be like that, i expected a 3-set win by la salle. KUDOS TO BOTH TEAM. ust showed up, and la salle, its not that they're not in good shape or whatever, it was ust na nag-level up. and beware la salle, BEWARE..=P

come championship, magagawan na ng paraan ng lasalle ung weaknesses nila.. no to service errors please.. you should have won the 2nd set kung hindi nag error sa last part si gumabao at marano.. it could have been another 3 setter.. pero ok ang.. nag enjoy ang lahat.. sana lang no more boos in the championship..

I think this game merely echoes Boom Gonzalez' sentiment last year during the finals. UST was the only team to instill doubts on the La Salle Players while the tigresses themselves never doubted their capabilities. I guess that's why there were a lot of service errors: they were either nervous or they wanted to put some "umph" on their service to disrupt UST's reception. La Salle is still amazing for staying unbeaten no one can take that away from them. But I'm also extremely proud of Judy Ann Caballejo for stepping up big time. She was the unsung hero of the game regardless of the loss. With the booing, it has nothing to do with class. It's a game and fans do get emotionally involved. People should not look for subtext where there is none. Good luck to both teams in the Final 4!
