According to Journal Online the two La Salle Players who allegedly suited up and played in the WCC 3rd Viking Cup Open Invitational Cup tournament are reserve setter Carmela Garbin and blocker Clarisse Yeung. La Salle has already suspended the two players & has already transmitted the letter to the UAAP board and the issue is expected to be tackled in next week’s meeting.

NCAA ManComm nullifies Perpetual, CSB semis wins 01/13/2011 | 08:16 PM
Share The NCAA Management Committee (ManComm) has nullified the victories posted by University of Perpetual Help and College of St. Benilde against separate opponents in Game 1 of the women’s volleyball semifinals last Monday after finding out that some of their players saw action in another league while the tournament was ongoing.
April Anne Sartin and Ronnery Dela Cruz of the Lady Altas and the Lady Blazers’ Arriane Yap and Janel Lim were caught playing in the WCC 3rd Viking Cup Open Invitational Cup without the knowledge of their respective coaches.
"Perpetual Help and CSB admitted it, and it’s a class act in the spirit of sportsmanship," said NCAA Management Committee member Fr. Vic Calvo of Season 86 host Letran College.
Calvo said the players mentioned violated Section 6.5.2 of the NCAA Constitution and Bylaws, which prevents any athlete from playing in other leagues while the tournament is ongoing.
With the forfeiture, Letran and defending champion San Sebastian moved a win away of setting a finals showdown. Letran and San Sebastian only need to win on Friday to enter the finals.
Perpetual defeated Letran in straight sets, 25-20, 25-13, 25-15, while CSB stunned San Sebastian, 16-25, 22-25, 25-17, 25-23, 15-13, in their respective semis series openers last Monday. – JVP, KY, GMANews.TV

we believe!
GO DLSU! wag magpaapekto sa nangyayari.. wala pang final decision.. and ano man mangyari.. alam ko mas magiging hungrier kayo para makabawi at umabot sa finals! laban lang ng laban! if ever maforfeit ang games pero nasa finals pa rin kayo ang sarap ng feeling diba?
