Lol. Knowing cuba, kung magpapalit man sila ng players, they won't go for experience. Which utility hitter/setter are you talking about? Si silie? I think after london, she'll be out of the team in favor of a younger player. hindi naman sa kagustuhan na magpasok ng batang player. yung mga players kasi either nagdedeflect or ikukulong nila pag nalaman nilang may balak magdeflect. kaya naman gustong magdeflect kung makapaglaro man overseas eh halos 70% ng kita ng player eh kinukuha ng gobyerno. i think kung hindi ginagawa yun ng cuban government mareretain nila ang mga players nila at sa malamang sila pa rin ang best volleyball country sa buong mundo. yung iba dahil nabibwisit nag reretire ng maaga example nancy carillo retires at the age of 23. LOL! ano dahilan ni kuzkyutin bakit sya nagresign?

Oh ok, that clears it. But i think there have been exceptions, like ruiz replacing luis sa starting lineup, and other similar cases. The cuban play has always favored youth, i think. Lol. if the cuban team will retain this line up of players sa pan american, i believe malayo ang mararating nila.. the setting has improved and the addition of Silva bilang middle attacker benefited the team.. at mabilis na ang sets ng bola, yung tipong quick plays sa open at utility... Sillie is the team captain and nadadala nya ang team... sana naman di matulad sa nangyari sa mga nakaraang line up na parang overhaul of players ang ginawa nila...

Team B ba ng usa 'yan? kumusta naman ang USA kahit puro bago eh tinambakan ang puerto rico. a year ago nakikita ko pa sa NCAA yung mga players nila ngayong pang national team na. gibmeyer is a revelation pwede syang pumalit kay bown after 2012. galing din ni carly as a setter parang veteran. This is actually USA's Team B. Their Team A is preparing for the World Cup. Sa Team B na to makikita mo ang depth ng USA. I am excited to see Klineman, Lloyd and Gibbemeyer play for Team A of USA. Magaling talaga si Lauren Gibbmeyer. All-American yan while playing for Minnesota. And yes, I think she will be part of the USA Team A after 2012 London although I don't think she will start kasi andiyan pa si Harmotto and Akinradewo. Yung lamang ni Gibbemeyer kay Harmotto is that she's a better blocker. Proof to that is she was Pan-Am Games' Best Blocker. Harmotto though is a better attacker. Carly Lloyd is good! Athletic. Parang white-version ni Alisha Glass. USA has a loooooot of good setters. Berg, Glass, Spicer, Lloyd, Thompson... Swerte ni Hugh Mccutcheon daming options. Cynthia Barboza was a revelation! Ang lakas pala niya knowing that she just came off an injury. She was like Logan Tom during USA's game vs Dominican Republic.... excellent all-around skills. And her backrow attacks were a sight to behold! I expect her to be part of USA's roster this coming world cup. She's by far a better player over-all than Kim Glass. Plus Barboza is still young around 24 years old.

yung contract ni kuzyutkin hinde na inextend ok...ayaw na niya(kuzyutkin) iextend..... Baka naman na pressured si Kuzyutkin dahil sa Russia is the reigning World Champions and it would be unacceptable for the team if they will not win the Olympic Gold. And knowing that this could be Gamova and Sokolova's last Olympic Games.

I also don't like Nikolic, I don't like big outside hitters with no reception. ;D Andiyan lang yan sa team si Nikolic because she's the oldest, and is the most experienced. BUT, I would rather have Ivana Djerisilo than her. Too bad magkaaaway si Djerisilo and Terzic (the coach). So now that Nikolic is skipping the World Cup, I am excited to see Malagurski-Molnar-Brakocevic combo as pin hitters. Then of course the eye candy Natasa Krsmanovic in the middle together with Rasic. Too bad Maja Ognjenovic will also miss the World Cup!

Piccinini will also miss the World Cup. Its about time, I think. Piccinini is becoming ineffective. Looks like age has taken its toll on her. Caterina Bossetti will replace her. Caterina Bossetti is the MVP of the Junior World Championships. Although a bit impossible but would love to see the 2 Bossetti's play as OH for Italy. The older Bossetti though will probably start for Italy opposite Del Core/Costagrande. And thank God Ortolani is back as the opposite!

Plus Barboza is still young around 24 years old. I've always seen Cynthia Barboza as a good player (ang ganda pa, which is irrelevant haha). But if Hodge, Larson, Glass, continue to play as they do. Mahihirapan si Barboza na magkaroon ng slot sa Team A, given that there are also a number of promising hitters that are up and coming in the US. They might make her play as a substitute opposite, pero sayang kasi yung depensa niya. I see Larson taking hold of her spot on the national team after London. and then Glass, Hodge, and maybe Barboza will compete for the OH1 slot.
