yeah....iba ang armswing ni Goncharova...pero para medyo similar sila ni Glinka sa approach yeah. parang orthodox nga. pero malaks naman talaga pumalo si Goncharova. di lang masyadong nagagamit kasi anjan si Kosheleva who is playing way better than her. |

She had so much promise as a World-class opposite prior to her injury which I think sidelined her after Beijing Oly. She and Jovana Brakocevic (Serbia NT, Opposite) are very much similar. Tall (around 6'4-6'5), young but with a lot of promise. Podolec, as what I mentioned above, has been injury-prone while Brakocevic played in China together with Logan Tom. |

^^ yup sokolova will play till 2012. parang tom logan yan all-around player plus her receiving skill is very reliable compared to other russian OH.

Balik Russia si Sokolova after her season with Fenerbahce. I heard its Dinamo Moscow. |

Just like the US with Logan Tom, I wonder how will Russia fare without Sokolova? I mean, she's the only reliable receiver on that team. Well, Kosheleva is getting the needed experience pero iba pa rin si Sokolova. For USA, same thing with Kosheleva... Larson is there but I wonder how will they do it without Tom. Time for Hodge, Barboza and even Klineman to step up! I am more excited with Klineman actually. |

i was wondering if sokolova and artamanova shifted to beach volleyball back in 2003-04 maging successful kaya sila? matalo kaya nila sina may-walsh?

karpol, binisita ko lang kaibigan ko doon sa indonesia. pagbuklat ko ng diario, sports section, voila! kinuhanan ko pa ng picture. hehe! may pro league yata sila sa indonesia. sana, gano'n na rin dito.
nag-libero ba dati si sokolova?
ano ang balita sa setters ng russia at usa? same-same pa rin?

Sokolova will not play for this years Grand Prix, she will skip because of personal reasons. Anyway, if their coach needs her service, she might join the team in the 2012 London Olympics.

Aside from leadership, she provides stable hands in receiving, something that Russia took advantage off to cop last year's World Championship.
So expect Sokolova or Kilic or whatever you call her to be in London.
