lol. fivb should get their facts straight from the source or at least from verifiable sources. digithard, if we our girls (and guys) start playing like the thais, then kaya nating makipagsabayan. that means, a solid defense and a coordinated offense. the thais play fast and low and their setter gets balls to her hitters accurately. at their best, they play at a certain fast beat/rhythm like the brazilians. many of our players who are of equal height to the thais are slow and clumsy. against the japs, errr, i can't even begin. anyhoo, sa j-league, yes maliit ang players nila, like mabibilang mo ang lalagpas ng 183 cm sa bawat club team. but on the national team, pili na ang kanilang players. malalaki na, mabibilis pa. 'yong mga nakakalusot na mga 179 below are simply extraodinary. if we can combine in one team the reliable floor defense of the adu system, the power training of ust, the quickness and play-making of feu and the balance of dlsu, then we will have begun our journey of really challenging our neighbors. ^^ just my two cents', (i'm just a fan of the sport, hindi talaga naglalaro. maybe the others here who are enthusiasts to the core can give you a different reading) but i'm one with you in hoping and praying for the best of philippine volleyball. sa basketball naman, i don't think we need the government's support on it. gumugulong ang sport na 'yan dito dahil sa private sector.

cruel joke.
'yong 2-libero rule...sa international tournaments e parang hindi rin pinapansin ng karamihan. brazil at italy lang yata ang nakita kong nag-gano'n. nagpalit-palit sila camila brait at fabi kada set.
