I have a feeling that Ust will beat DLSU this coming sunday... y? halos lahat ng panalo ng UST sa 2nd Round (except yun sa ADMU & UP) puro 3 sets win... same scenario last year after DLSU lost to FEU... mas may killer instinct na ang UST ngaun... tsaka error lng tlga pumatay sa UST nun opening game nila... basta wag aabot ng 5th set, UST mananalo diyan... anyway, laging 2nd seed ang nag champion sa UAAP since season 69 pwera lng season 71... 69 - FEU, UST, AdU, UE - ust ang champions 70 - Adu, FEU, UST, ADMU - FEU ang champs 71 - DLSU, FEU, UST, AdU - DLSU ang champs 72 - DLSU, UST, could be ADu or ADMU (seeding na lng..depende sa laro nila sa sunday) - UST na yan!!! just my two cents... peace people  |

FOR ME, kung positions an titignan, lamang an DLSU
sa middle blocker/spiker with Jacq Alarca around.
then lamang ang UST sa utility with Aiza having more
variations on her shots and experience wise than Joanne.
sa open i have to say DLSU has the smartest open among
all the teams this season. they have Paneng and Cha, who
loves to find the holes in the opponent's court. while UST
has Maru and Ange, one of the powerful hitters.
sa setter position, kahit mas matagal na c Kaye, i must say
lamang talaga c Rhea sa skill level. alam nating ndi kagandahan
an reception ng USTe, but still naibibigay nia ng maayos ang bola
sa attackers nia.
sa La Salle pag maganda laro ni Kaye and Melissa,
mas malaki probability na mananalo cla. for USTe,
pag maganda gising nila Aiza, Din-Din and Jec-Jec,
malamang mapapadali ang buhay ng mga Tigresa
sa game na 'to.
and in terms of skills, sa blocking lamang na talaga DLSU
dian. unless maibalik ng UST ang Great Wall of Espania.

Lamang lang tlga DLSU sa blocking. Kasi nmn, yung totoo lang, walang masasaktan, sablay ang libero ng UST dati. Fortuno and Carangan. Di nmn sablay all the way pero pag kinabahan na at pinagalitan, laglag na. Now with Curato, alam nting hindi tlga sya ang the best pero mas magaling at steady sya dun sa dalawa.
Isa pang point, hindi ko alam kung sinadya ng UST or off talaga ang game ni Aiza nung against FEU. Sana sinadya at tinago lang nila laro ni Aiza para may panggulat sila sa Sunday.
Nakasalalay to a open hitters ng UST. Kasi pag tuluyan nang na-block sina maru at angge, lagot na.
Go UST!!!! Sana napraktis nila bloccking!
Oras na para maghiganti!!!

much awaited match!
for sure, this will be one heck of a game. Alam ng players both squads how important this game is to them and im sure...excited na sila!
pero walang tatalo sa pagka excite ng fans! haha! sana bukas Feb.14 na!
for me, the result of the game will depend on the players' mind set...kase, match na match na sila when it comes to skills and talent...
parang ang DLSU, ang mind set nila is to keep the winning form...and i-instill sa UST na "you cant beat us" para pag pasok ng semis at finals eh mas mataas morale nila over UST and also, to give the other teams this impression na "we are unbeatable"
while UST on the other hand, ang mind set is..."its time to get even!" "you can win once, but you cant win twice" something like that..hehe....ewan ko kung tama ung grammar ko or hindi, pakicheck nalang po! parang for the team, ito na ung pinaka magandang moment to showcase their true game! lalo na having dindin and jecjec to start with angge, rhea and aiza and/or judy, maru...
again, tingin ko lang po yan ha...hindi nag rereflect talga ung analysis ko sa laman ng utak ng mga bata...ako lang nag isip nyan...hehe..parang minsan tuloy, ang sarap maging psychologist ng team..haha! you get to tell them what they should be thinking...thats awesome!
