powerful spikes?? (sna po concentrate cka sa down the line spikes mo cause dun ka tlaga magaling ee) im saying na wag mag down the line but the middle blockers of ateneo are great

for maru and judy plzzzz be consistent.. feeling co bumaba laro ni maru cguro nag aadjust pa sya ule kxe nung mga nakaraang games nd cya masyado pinalalaro ee..
pero maru kaw ang ROY namin kea show us what you've got.. juday consistency is the only thing that ia missing we believe kaya mo yan..

the blocking setter this season kaw ang best blocking setter.. pakita mo eun aa
best server ka din at syempre lead ust attacks kaw gagawa ng mga magagandang plays at nagawa mo na eun kea kayang kaya mo ulet eun..

and for jecjec u did an excellent job against adu.. wow pinakita mo lang na dapat ikaw pa din ang maging libero ng tigers for the whole season..

Fille should maintain power in every attack

DZI should make the blockers of UST eat the ball more power sharper angles and more variety

JEM should use her smarts to fool UST's blockers

Kara should play an all around game deliver the goods block UST's open hitters and cover the back court as much as possible

Bea should go in for more quicks block more and move faster

Gretch must go in for more attacks be aggresive and neutralize UST's towers

guys, gusto ko lang i-share 'tong prediction na nasa spikeithard.com regarding this game. It's in a column entitled "The Green Corner"..

UST-ADMU
First Round Encounter: ADMU def. UST, 32-30, 25-23, 8-25, 19-25, 17-15

This is probably the most talked about match of the first round. UST, no doubt, one of the favorites for this season lost to a very young team in Ateneo. Up to now, I can still remember how that game went when I was still seating in my Ringside chair. Haha. UST did not do bad, I guess it’s just that Ateneo woke up really well. I don’t know what hit them and they really played one helluva game. In fact, that was the one of the rare times I was able to see them block and dig well. Ateneo has very good attackers in Gervacio, Cainglet, Acevedo and Ho. In fact, given more experience they can really match up well with other strong teams. UST also has the same in Ortiz, Maizo, Tabaquero and Banaticla. Both teams feature the two of probably the best setters of the country today. Aside from that, Curato and Gabriel as Liberos work very well. The difference though is the fact that UST has the height against Ateneo. I’m sure they will really maximize this against Ateneo. Meanwhile, Ateneo is a team who plays smart. They are not really a strong or power-hitting team, but their swipes and drops are very deadly, and so are their serves. The reason why Ateneo win against UST is the fact that Ateneo gives spice to their serves because they know that UST’s receiving is not that good. I’m sure the game will be filled with offense. However, psychological advantage is in the side of Ateneo which is why I’m placing my money on Ateneo to win this on in 4 to 5 sets yet again. I have a feeling that this coming Sunday, the San Juan Arena will be very filled with spectators of both sides. With UST fans, wanting to avenge their defeat while Ateneo meanwhile, wanting to repeat and to prove that it’s not a fluke. This is good not only for both teams but for the UAAP Volleyball itself. At least, the sport is getting more and more popular. As for me, I’ll surely watch live this Sunday. So see you guys!
