i dont think its like that. when u becoime great ksi u fear losing it or getting embarrassed. i think un ang case ni charo now..... nwal na ung dti nyang quicks na kung di iniiwas sa bloackes ay pinapalo nlng headon para magtrickle down lng ung ball withthe blockers..... and yung malulutong na spikes..... imagine nagamit nya pa un last conferencelng... i doont think she'll be cold n agad after less than two months cguro.....mxado xang pasafe I think the problem is with Ferrer. Sa game kanina bihira lang niya bigyan ng set si Charo, tapos may ilang instances pa na mali-mali ang sets niya. Sila Dzi at Jem very erratic parin ang performance, si Fille lang talaga ang nagdadala ng ADMU ngayon. Si Kara kanina, parang nabano nanaman, hindi yun yung game na pinakita niya bago siya mainjure(vs. UP & UST). Overall attitude ng ADMU kanina nilalaro lang ang laro. Hindi yan pupwede sa tougher teams. Kung ganyan lang sila malamang matalo pa sila ng Baste at AdU. Parang walang mga gana. |

Well though most of the high expectations on Ateneo still have to happen, a win is still a win. And, besides, Lyceum really gave Ateneo some killer attacks that kept Ateneo within striking distance. Lyceum just can't be consistent with those attacks plus, of course, and again, the errors. But I agree that Ateneo must increase their pace when they face the remaining tough opponents.

i dont think its like that. when u becoime great ksi u fear losing it or getting embarrassed. i think un ang case ni charo now..... nwal na ung dti nyang quicks na kung di iniiwas sa bloackes ay pinapalo nlng headon para magtrickle down lng ung ball withthe blockers..... and yung malulutong na spikes..... imagine nagamit nya pa un last conferencelng... i doont think she'll be cold n agad after less than two cguro.....mxado xang pasafe masyado kang demanding kay charo. ngayon, talagang di na siya kasing lakas ng last conference (nakapag-thailand training pa siya nun) kasi wala siya sa kundisyon. sabi niya nun samin, 3 months daw siyang walang exercise kaya di daw niya alam kung magiging GP siya. actually, di naman dapat siya talaga ang GP ng ateneo eh. isa pa, effective ang mga hulog niya yesterday. blocking team ang lyceum kaya di niya talaga papaluin head-on, mas matatangkad ang mga defenders niya. pero may time dun na pinalo niya ng malakas, kasi walang tao sa backline ng lyceum. try watching the replay. wala gaanong sets sa kanya pero kung may ibigay man sa kanya, nakakascore naman siya. at least nga siya di naba-block, si fille na top scorer makailang beses din nablock. at least may nacontribute naman si charo. ..and i suggest palitan mo na yung display name mo, mukhang di mo na love si charo eh. |

hahahahaha..... when u like sum1 u know what they can give and ud feel quite disappointed if she's not bringing it out.... please i watched it live........ yeah cguro nga la xa exercise pero .please read my other posts.... imnot looking for scoring from her ryt now ksi marami pwede magscore sa ateneo khit wala xa..... she has to be the spark that she was before.......and hulogs(smart as those were) ay mxadong di pamatay. di nakakabuhay kumpyansa sa mga pagirl nyang teammates..... i hope naiintindihan mo.....andplease charo has no problem with stronger blocking teams like UST.... she can go head-on with balse then last minute nsa gilid n pla ni balse lumusot ang ball... at hindi lng bsta hulog un.... malakas na quick..... do u see what im getting at????there were time na she could have killed it strong pero di nya gngwa. yeah i know... mas madli na idrop nlng ksi prehoparin nmn.malakas or mahina scoring machine parin xa pero during times when ur teammates are so down dpat ipakita mo na kya nyo pla dumakdak ng dumakdak ng bola.......gets mo?  |

and yeah ferrer is playing maarte... i hate to say this pero unlike other setters n kung pwede ay icontort n ang ktwan maset lng at mahabol ang ball xa ay puro pagirl parin... sobrang pagirl to think na xa dpat ang libero ng second ball.....tapos she plans teh plays before the rally starts... how could that be effective when the scenario changes every minute.....tapos lagi p nyang pinapaquick c Ho against GULLIMAN up front.... the only chance that HO has is a running or a V-QUICK which ferrer rarely uses na...... wala n tlg akong nkita na V-Quick nila ni charo at HO to think na important play un against taller teams.....

^baka B-QUICK ang ibig mong sabihin. haha.
and you know why charo got that ball through against balse last conference? kasi 2nd ball pa lang, pinalo na niya, di na pina-set yung bola kasi utos ni micmic sa last timeout. of course, pag 2nd ball pa lang, di naman inaasahan ng blockers na papaluin, expectation nila is iseset pa.
ganun naman talaga trabaho ng setter eh, give the play before the whistle. pag di niya yun binigay, magkakagulo. pag di effective yung binigay niya, all they have to do is to save the ball, and she'll give another play.
nag-ooveranalyze ka naman kasi masyado eh. panalo naman na, kini-criticize mo pa. ;D
to call them several names, and to give them derogatory descriptions is totally uncalled for.

hindi naman sa maarte si ferrer,setter din kasi ako,minsan kasi parang ang tamad magreceive ng mga kakampi mo na sa kung saansaan dinadala ung bola at nahihilo ka sa paghabol at sa pagset.kaya minsan nasisimangot na rin si ferrer kasi natatambakan sila tas siya parang siya pa nasisisi kasi pangit ang set eh ang papangit din namn receive ng team mates nya

yeah i know how good ferrer is.... pipol andami ko na nakaaway dito because of defending the skills that these ateneo players have..... TO scientiaetvirtus: sorry pero i would never forget a BALSE_SORIANO duel. kya tandang tanda ko.. yeah im sorry ksi im poor with volleyball terms but i know quite a few just by watching volleyball for years now.... charo had that through BALSE several tyms via a strong B-quick set by ferrer......kitangkita panga kabig niya to the left when she did that at parang nagulat nlng c balse ksi bumagsak na.....thats what charo is known for... no height factor para skanya dti.. velasquez or maizo or balse preho lng cla na kya nya iwasan. and sorry ksi setters, yeah your ryt thay do that to organize things sa start but u cant stick to that plan lng.... khit sobrang tangkad at bntay na ang gitna eh quick to HO parin gngwa nya,.... ano un? susundin moparin ang initail plan khit di n bagay? ? para n xang setter ng DLSU... laging napapagalitan ksi pilit nagpaplano ng play sa start tapos gnun parin gngwa khit di n suitable sa situation... nway i think im bashing to mush pero im sorry ksi i know thay have much much more to give and puro attitude prob lng naghihinder sakanila... and i know that ksi i see tham live lagi and i see them sa time out....... puro nakatitig kung saan. khit may lead n dalwa eh parang kalaban p ata mas masaya at on-fire.....gets? |

Erratic lang, so far she has her good times and bad times sa isang game this conference, honestly based sa pinapakita niya ngayon parang mas okay pa siya nung rookie year niya, I don't want to believe that jinx whatever, pero parang meron siya ngayon, same w/ Dzi, kala ko nastuck lang si Dzi pero parang may jinx/slump/down din siya ngayon. Si Fille na madaming pumuna nung rookie year niya (overhyped daw) ngayon siya na ang bright spot ng admu. So I think panapanahon lang, sana dumating yung time na lahat sila pantay-pantay na. anyways mahaba pa ang conference wag niyo ng pahabain ang argue dahil parehas lang naman kayong admu supporters right? marami pang pwedeng mangyari, let's wish them luck nalang and don't expect too much. |

I didn't notice that Ferrer was the POG. If I were to select, I'll give it to Cainglet. Overall Ferrer did ok despite of her errors, but, to me, Cainglet contributed more.

Jem actually played better compared to the previous games na nilaro nila
this conference. Yung game nila against UST, dun off talaga siya. With regards
to giving play, talaga naman binibigay before the serve, bago ang rally in other
words. Pag panget ang receive, cancel ang play at back to open, quick, at kwatro.
Ang play kasi ng Ateneo ngayon if you are to observe is lagi may pumapasok ng quick
whether si Ho, Pascual or even Charo. Siguro nakakapanibago lan kasi Charo
is known for her running attacks na di din ganun naibibigay kasi una walang receive,
malayo sa netso kung ipipilit nila at magtake risk mahirap na to think na ang running ni charo
is fast-play.. short running attack. Hindi long, same with Ho. Kaya nga sabi ng coach
ng LPU dito, ang running nila sa likod lan ng setter. Wala sa dulo. How would you set
the ball ng running sa likod mo kung hindi na maganda ang contact sa first ball, would you
take risk setting it up sa running or quick kung pwede mo naman ibigay kay Fille na nasa Open
at porsyento naman ang palo? Think of it. Always remember, Volleyball is a team sport.
One more thing, Jem is not being "maarte" or what.
If you are to see her, ang daming beses nyang nagdive sa bola.
Its just that na medyo panget talaga ang floor defense nila nun.
